Seeking Pleasure
It’s important this month to focus on pleasure and having fun. This is because there are key planets in your fellow air sign Gemini, which rules all the good things in your life, like play and entertainment. Therefore, focus on what’s working well and do more of what you love.
The Sun is here until the 21st and talk planet Mercury is in Gemini until the 8th. Therefore, be pro-active, line up some fun entertainment and reach out to other people. Social get-togethers and parties are part of the Gemini vibe.
Plus, on the 8th, there’s a glorious Mercury-Jupiter conjunction in Gemini, a symbol of good news and celebration. Jupiter has been in this sector of your horoscope for one year and it’s going out with a bang. You might be proud of a child. Or perhaps, you master a creative skill.
Actively embrace all that’s fun in life. This might mean romance for you, meeting someone new or enjoying a love affair. If you’re a typical air sign, you’ll love to flirt and meet new people.
Gemini rules children and pregnancy in your horoscope. Therefore, you might want to hang out more with your kids or be contemplating starting your own family. Any negotiations around children are well-starred and this could coincide with the Full Moon on the 11th.
Full Moons are a symbol of completion and culmination. Matters often come to a head during a Full Moon when the light of the Moon is at its brightest.
Plus, this Full Moon falls across the Gemini/Sagittarius axis of the zodiac. It’s about children on the one hand, also socialising and celebration. This would be a great time to throw a party or get yourself invited to a big event.
Hobbies too are part of the Gemini picture so it’s a good time to consider your skills and talents, your natural gifts and draw up a plan.
Jupiter Goals – Work & Health
Also this month, the big news is the big planet Jupiter on the move. It takes lucky Jupiter twelve years to circuit the zodiac and Jupiter spends one year in each of the twelve star signs.
On the 9th, Jupiter leaves air sign Gemini and enters water sign Cancer. On the one hand, this is a shift from play to work as Cancer rules your work and routine, your lifestyle and health.
Work may be getting more of a look in as Jupiter continues its journey through Cancer over the next twelve months. This is where Jupiter will remain until June 2026.
At its best, this combination could give you extra get-up-and-go. Over the next year, you may find the ideal job that frees up your time or you fall in love with volunteering. Or perhaps, you decide to take part in activities and develop daily habits which boost your health and well-being.
The one proviso is to take care that you don’t over-commit yourself, even if work is plentiful. Jupiter’s the planet of growth and expansion and sometimes you’re full-on when Jupiter’s in the work and lifestyle sector of your horoscope. Yet, play your cards right and your work, health and routine could be zinging with life and vitality if you make the right moves moving forward.
Solstice, New Moon Beginnings
Talk planet Mercury is in Cancer from the 8th to the 26th and the Sun enters Cancer on the 21st, the day of the Solstice. Therefore, this month is a time to get back in flow and do whatever’s needed to ensure your routine is smooth. Prioritise your work, your lifestyle and your health.
As soon as the Sun moves into Cancer, it aligns with big planet Jupiter on the 24th. This is considered one of the luckiest dates of the year and for you it lights up your work and health sector. You could hear good news on or around this date and it would be worth applying for your dream job close to the 24th.
In addition, there’s a New Moon in Cancer on the 25th, a symbol of new beginnings. This would be an ideal date to start a new job or adopt a new health or fitness routine. Look after yourself and your well-being.
Shift Your Mindset
Also this month, action planet Mars enters earth sign Virgo on the 17th where it remains until August 6th. Virgo rules one of the complex sectors of your horoscope. On the one hand, this is about financial transactions and shared resources. On the other hand, it represents all that’s hidden, including fear and taboo issues.
Virgo is ruled by Mercury, the planet of the mind, so take care that you don’t allow your mind to dominate. If you’re going through a challenging time, take charge and do what you can to restore order.
Writing things down or journalling could help. Alternatively, make a list of the things that need to be done if you’re feeling overwhelmed.
Do whatever’s needed to move away from a fearful attitude towards hope and faith and a belief that things will turn out well in the end. It might help to be diligent about taking on healthy practices or rituals, including prayer, gratitude or exercises that can shift your mindset. Anything that works for you personally.
Yet, Mars in Virgo could coincide with a positive money move. You might be selling a property and this helps to create cash flow. Or you join forces with your family to make your money and resources go further.
As Virgo is one of the earth signs, this could include harvesting food from an allotment. Certainly, it’s a good time to be resourceful and look at what you can create or produce that benefits you or that you can sell on.
Sometimes, money comes your way unexpectedly when you have key planets in this sector of your horoscope. You could decide to move in with a partner, set up a joint bank account, sign a contract or start a joint venture that’s lasting. Focus on your financial future to create a more secure way of life.
Cosmic Challenges
Before Mars enters Virgo, it’s completing its journey through your opposite star sign Leo. Mars has been in Leo and your relationship sector on and off since November 2024. Therefore, consider what relationships have been foreground during this period.
It’s not been an easy transit for Mars as it’s encountered Pluto not once but three times in recent months. This might have coincided with an ongoing power game or conflict. Or perhaps, a relationship came to an end or you were parted from the one you love.
Whatever’s been going on for you, mid-month is the turning point and Mars isn’t going out of Leo quietly. This is because, on the 15th, Mars clashes with your co-ruler Uranus in Taurus and your home and family sector.
You could decide to quit a relationship on or around this date. Or perhaps, someone walks out on you. It’s wild-card astrology so be wary who you encounter and choose your companions carefully.
On the same day, the 15th, your traditional planet Saturn is in Aries and clashes with Jupiter in Cancer. Immediately, this suggests that you might be up against someone or something. These two planets have opposing belief systems and don’t always see eye-to-eye. Aries is your communication and community sector and can represent wider society.
Saturn isn’t acting alone, however, and, on the 19th, Jupiter in Cancer clashes with Neptune in Aries. Your social conscience is likely to be strong during this period. Notice who or what triggers your moral compass and stand firm on your beliefs.
The only proviso is to be wary of speaking out if this could damage your reputation or harm your position at work. However, if you’re a typical Aquarius, you like to play your part within society and it may take a lot for you to step back and not get involved if it means you’re able to make a difference.
