Aquarius Season – Solar Eclipse

Aquarius is the star sign of the moment as it’s your birthday month up until the 18th. This means that the Sun is moving through Aquarius but it’s not only the planetary body in your star sign.

Talk planet Mercury is here until the 6th and the planet of relating Venus is in Aquarius until the 10th. In addition, the planet of drive and action Mars is taking up residence in your star sign throughout February. It’s all going on in your personal sector.

This turns the focus towards yourself and your personal goals and aims. It’s about being out in the world and a reminder that individual action makes a difference. Consider where it’s important for you to step up or put yourself first.

Your star sign Aquarius is linked to modern technology so you may find your voice online. Alternatively, you could decide to play your part within society, politics or the collective. 

The current astrology is about the future, not only your own concerns but what’s happening out in the world. You may have a unique role to play moving forward.

Also this month, the Full Moon on the 1st could prove decisive for a relationship as the Moon is in your opposite star sign Leo. The light of the Moon illuminates and brings clarity and this could be a pivotal time for a close relationship, either personal or professional.

Notice who ‘shines bright’ in your life but don’t make it all about them. The Sun and a host of other planets are in Aquarius and this is where strength lies. It’s your turn under the cosmic spotlight.

In addition, this month sees the start of a new eclipse cycle which will cut across the star signs Leo and Aquarius. This is significant for you and this eclipse cycle will continue until January 2028.

The areas of accelerated growth are your relationships and one-to-ones, also your personal goals and aims, your image, identity and how other people see you. Plus, the majority of eclipses in this cycle are Solar Eclipses, i.e. turbo-powered New Moons. This indicates that things could happen fast.

The first eclipse in the cycle takes place on the 17th of this month and it’s a Solar Eclipse in your star sign Aquarius. Consider where in life you’re gearing up to be more visible. Or where you want to take a stand and put yourself first.

During this eclipse, your co-ruler Uranus is in feisty mood and squares up to the Sun and Moon. Uranus is currently completing its journey through earth sign Taurus at the base of your horoscope, representing your home and family, your past and where you come from.

Uranus is unusually active this month so consider whether you’re the one who’s feeling rebellious or radical. Uranus turns direct in Taurus on the 4th and clashes with all the inner planets in Aquarius on the 5th, 8th, 16th & 27th.

Perhaps, you’re ready to make a definitive split from the past. Or you’re moving on from your current home or family situation. Alternatively, you may be in a situation that’s challenging and which divides or splits you off from people close to you.

This could be an ethical or moral dilemma and it may be that you can’t help but take a stand for what you believe in. Try not to be overly impulsive in your actions. Yet, at the same time, don’t let this hold you back from doing what’s right.

Pisces Season – Mercury Retrograde

Pisces rules your personal money sector and there’s a lot of activity here throughout February. Talk planet Mercury enters Pisces on the 6th followed by the planet of relating Venus on the 10th. Finally, the Sun moves into Pisces on the 18th.

This is a practical sector of your horoscope but it’s not about being logical or practical where money’s concerned as Pisces is an emotional water sign. Certainly, you’re wise to keep close tabs on your money but trust your intuition and listen out for hunches and coincidences.

Practise the law of attraction and believe that what you give, you receive in return. Aim to be in flow with money, whatever that means for you personally. Feel your way forward when it comes to finances and, at the same time, aim to remain open-hearted and faithful.

Venus in Pisces is boundless and giving, a compassionate, kind and caring influence. On the 22nd, Venus teams up with lucky Jupiter in Cancer. This would be a good time to raise money for charity or help out someone in need. Alternatively, if you’re the one who’s struggling financially, ask for help. Do what you can to keep the flow of money moving.

However, you’re wise not to procrastinate if you have a major financial decision to make. This is because communication planet Mercury turns retrograde in Pisces on the 26th and will remain on go slow until March 20.

You’re wise to plot and plan but bide your time around major investments or financial moves during the Mercury retrograde phase. You might be playing a waiting game when it comes to money or someone goes quiet on you.

Use the Mercury retrograde phase to do your research and consider all your options. Take your time and don’t rush into anything. It may be that a better deal comes your way once Mercury moves back to direct motion.

Saturn Enters Aries

Saturn is your traditional ruling planet and it’s important when it changes star sign. Saturn moves into fire sign Aries on February 14 where it will remain until April 2028.

Aries highlights your communication sector. And, as Saturn rules commitment and discipline, you might be considering a course of study or decide to train as a teacher. It’s a strong symbol for writing or becoming a voice of authority.

Or you could take on a significant role within your community or neighbourhood. Plus, Aries rules siblings and close relatives in your horoscope. However, as Saturn is the planet of endings, you could also decide to take a step back from a leadership role or community group in which you’ve been involved..

The Saturn/Neptune conjunction falls in Aries and your communication and community sector on February 20. This is about your connections close to home and the way you use words to inspire others.
