Aries Season
The Sun remains in fire sign Aries up until the 20th. Aries rules communication, transport and connections in your horoscope. This is about your daily commute and what you do day in, day out.
Aries rules your siblings and neighbours, your local community and this may be a period in the year when you’re busier than usual. You might be ferrying people back and forth or be dealing with a lot of office politics or correspondence in your place of work.
Ideally, Aries season is the time to get organised and stay focused. It’s a good time to put daily habits in place which benefit your mind, body and soul. Aim to manage your time well and see how you can effectively utilise the time you spend commuting, your lunch hour or other key areas in the day.
There is, however, a potential theme of overwhelm in your life. You could have too much on your plate, so watch your stress levels. If you’re juggling a second job or standing in for employees who are on leave or ill, do what you can but don’t over-give.
This is because the Sun isn’t the only planet in Aries. The two inner planets, action planet Mars and talk planet Mercury join the Sun in Aries on the 9th & 14th respectively. This ups the ante and suggests that there’s a lot happening.
When in doubt, turn to other people to ask for help and support. It’s via your community and your trusted friends where you may find the right opportunities and doors open.
In addition, your traditional ruling planet Saturn is now in Aries and teams up with Mars and Mercury in a triple conjunction on the 19th & 20th. This could act as a catalyst for your inner activist and you may be playing a more direct or assertive role in your community.
If you feel strongly about something, it’s an ideal month to speak up and find your voice. You may be involved in strike action or protests. Or you’re playing an active role in your local neighbourhood. Alternatively, you could be sharing your opinions on a podcast or in the media.
Sometimes, Mars and Mercury in Aries indicate more arguments and disputes. This may be due to what’s happening in the world. Or it could be a personal issue which flares up involving a sibling or neighbour.
Choose your words and communications well and don’t waste your voice. You have a real chance to make a difference if you play your cards right this month.
Full Moon/New Moon
In addition, both lunations – the Full Moon on the 2nd and the New Moon on the 17th – cut across the Aries/Libra axis of the zodiac pulling you out into the world.
This is about education for you, learning, knowledge, principles and beliefs. You may be taking part in a workshop or course this month. Or perhaps, you’re involved in a major debate regarding philosophy, spirituality, religion, politics or culture.
During the Full Moon in Libra on the 2nd, there’s the promise of togetherness. Get the right people on your side and you widen your circle of experience and can be more successful in your projects and endeavours. Balance is required in your close relationships, which may mean finding some lightness in love and friendship.
The New Moon on the 17th is a power surge of Aries energy as there are seven planetary bodies in the first star sign. In addition, the wounded healer Chiron sits next to the Sun & Moon during the New Moon phase.
Chiron in Aries is often about taking a stand, helping the underdog or joining a protest. This may be linked to healing collective wounds or pain. Or perhaps, it’s something more personal that you’re ready to deal with directly.
Home & Family
Also this month, the planet of love and relating Venus is in earth sign Taurus until the 24th. Plus, the Sun enters Taurus on the 20th, the star sign at the base of your horoscope.
Taurus represents the sector of your horoscope which rules your home and family and this is where you’re wise to aim to find more safety and security in your life.
You may want somewhere to nest and rest. Or perhaps, you’re keen to find a place of comfort or retreat where you feel grounded and steady.
Sometimes, when Venus is in Taurus, you’re redecorating or making your surroundings more beautiful. It’s a strong symbol for gardening and growing fruit and vegetables.
The other planet in Taurus up until the 26th is your co-ruler Uranus. And, on the 24th, there’s a Venus-Uranus conjunction in Taurus, just before both planets change star sign.
This date could prove significant and it’s a good time to be spontaneous when it comes to your home, your family or your past. A gift could emerge or something or someone appears out of the blue to help you out of a challenging or unsettled situation.
Uranus Enters Gemini
Your co-ruler Uranus is the planet of innovation and unpredictability and is on the move this month. This is significant because Uranus remains in one star sign for seven years and takes eighty-four years to circuit the zodiac.
On the 26th, innovative and independent Uranus leaves earth sign Taurus where it’s been since 2018. This could bring a period of instability or change to an end. Alternatively, you might be getting ready to leave behind one chapter of your life and move on.
Sometimes, Uranus coincides with external events which bring about change. Notice what happens the last week of April as this is when Uranus is most active. Uranus moving into your fellow air sign Gemini could feel easier for you as it’s lighter, more flexible and less heavy.
In your horoscope, Gemini rules romance, children and pregnancy, creative projects, entertainment and luck. This could bring something or someone fresh and exciting into your life as the focus turns to fun and play. Enjoy yourself.
Also on the 24th, love planet Venus enters Gemini and this could be a lovely period for finding love or enjoying your close connections. Gemini rules children and pregnancy in your horoscope. Therefore, you might want to hang out more with your kids or be contemplating starting your own family.
