This whole combination feels sexy but secretive. Water signs represent emotions and Scorpio’s nature is intense and deep. Perhaps, this is about a child in your life who you want to reach and connect with but they don’t always make it easy. Or it’s about a love relationship that’s bringing up deep emotions.
It feels like an important month to focus on your personal affairs and make a clear decision about what you want and need.
Virgo Season – New Moon
September is Virgo season as the Sun remains in Virgo up until the 23rd. Virgo rules communication in your horoscope when there’s a theme of going back to school or getting back into your routine. This is about your daily commute and what you do day in, day out.
Virgo rules your siblings and neighbours, your local community and it’s often a period of the year when you’re busier than usual. You might be ferrying people back and forth or be dealing with a lot of correspondence in your place of work.
Ideally, Virgo season is the time to get organised and bring more structure into your life. It’s a good time to put daily habits in place that benefit your mind, body and spirit. Manage your time well and see how you can effectively utilise the time you spend commuting or your lunch hour or other key areas in the day.
Virgo season encourages connection, so turn to other people to ask for help and support and offer the same in return. It’s via your community and your trusted friends where you can find the right opportunities and doors may open.
The New Moon on the 11th falls in Virgo this month, a symbol of new beginnings. Start something new, a course or a community venture. You may be going back to school or be buying a new mode of transport.
Libra Season – Full Moon
September heralds the Equinox, when the Sun enters Libra on the 23rd, the start of a new season. Libra represents the sector of your horoscope that rules your home and family. This is where you’re wise to seek balance, peace and harmony. If you’re a typical Sun Cancer, you need somewhere in life you can retreat to, a place of comfort and nurture.
This theme is foreground throughout September as the planet of love and relating Venus is in Libra until the 10th. Then, Venus passes on the Libra baton to communication planet Mercury. Finally, the Sun enters Libra on the 23rd.
Make your home and surroundings more beautiful and, ideally, aim for less stress and conflict in your close relations.
Also this month, there’s a Full Moon in Aries and your career and vocation sector on the 26th. This Full Moon cuts across the Aries/Libra axis of the zodiac highlighting the foundations of your life. You may be acutely aware of the work/life balance. Or you feel pulled in different directions.
This would be a positive time to make an intuitive decision around work and home. Consider what needs to change so you feel you’re moving in the right direction. There may be different aspects of your life to weigh up, perhaps financial or emotional. It may be a month, when your home and family have to come first.
The Big Pattern
The Big Pattern dominated July’s astrology and involves the three modern planets creating a Minor Grand Trine planetary aspect. This includes Uranus in Gemini, Neptune in Aries and Pluto in Aquarius.
This month, the Big Pattern is reactivated when Mercury and the Sun in Libra align with the three modern planets. This takes place on September 12- 14 and September 26-28. Interestingly, this is just after the New Moon on the 11th and during the Full Moon on the 26th.
This is intriguing astrology for you and suggests that you may be dealing with an inheritance from your past or something connected to your ancestry.
Money and security are key features but there may be a deeper learning that’s linked to who you truly are and where you come from. Perhaps, what’s playing out means that your dreams for your future are shifting and changing.
