New Horizons
Action planet Mars is in your fellow air sign Gemini through July. This feels lively, exciting and adventurous. Gemini rules your travel and study sector, an ideal time to spread your wings and explore life to the full.
However, Gemini’s ruling planet is Mercury and Mercury is retrograde, i.e. on go slow until the 23rd. This is important to know as it suggests you’re playing the long game. Some plans will work out and some won’t. Put off making the big decisions until Mercury’s back to direct motion.
Until then, explore whether you want to go back to school or gain new qualifications. You might be deciding to retrain to give yourself a broader opportunity in your career path. Or perhaps, you’re exploring living abroad or moving to a different country.
Events on or around the 4th could be electric when Mars is in conjunction with Uranus in Gemini. At its best, this could coincide with an out-of-the-blue opportunity which turns your life around. Say yes to a conference, talk or last-minute invitation.
However, Mars and Uranus together have a reputation of being accident-prone so don’t put yourself in the way of trouble and be wary of being overly impulsive.
A Slower Pace
Also this month, there’s a calming influence taking place which could help you. This is your ruling planet Venus moving into earth sign Virgo on the 9th. Virgo is the most hidden sector of your horoscope. It’s about what’s happening behind the scenes and can be a stabilising influence.
Even if you’re on a wild roller-coaster in life, aim to slow things down and focus on restoring calm and peace in your life and the lives of others. If you can go on retreat, meditate or take some time out, make it happen.
Take a step back, journal, write down your thoughts and do whatever’s necessary to regain order and balance in your life. Sometimes, the less you rush, the more speed you can take when the time is right.
Career Goals
The Sun is in star sign Cancer at the peak of your horoscope until the 22nd. This is where big planet Jupiter was in residence up until the end of June, encouraging you to expand your world. Jupiter’s influence is continuing to resonate this month so don’t give up on your long-term goals.
Perhaps, you’re angling for promotion or you want to set up your own business. Alternatively, you’re ready to pursue a new future path which will open up your world and bring more freedom your way.
There’s no rush, however, as communication planet Mercury is retrograde in Cancer up until the 23rd. If you’re changing your mind more than usual, this could be the reason why.
Take note, however, of what happens on or around the New Moon in Cancer on the 14th. A New Moon is a symbol of new beginnings and this month’s New Moon adds impact. This is because it falls the day after a powerful Sun/Mercury cazimi conjunction in Cancer on the 13th.
This is the midway phase of the Mercury retrograde phase and often coincides with insight, news or understanding. Use the power of the New Moon and the cazimi conjunction to listen to your instincts and reorient your compass moving forward. Have that all-important conversation on the 13th and be ready to shift up a gear once Mercury turns direct on the 23rd.
Leo Vibes
The Sun moves into fire sign Leo on the 22nd where it joins the biggest and best planet Jupiter. On the one hand, this promises a social few weeks when you can get out and about and meet up with friends.
Yet, it’s good for other areas of your life as well, meeting the right contacts or getting in touch with friends in high places. Plus, on the 29th, the Sun makes a stunning conjunction to lucky Jupiter in Leo.
This is often considered one of the best days of the year and coincides with opportunity or celebration. You may benefit from a friend’s success. Or perhaps, you’re amongst the right group of people to bring success your way.
In addition, this falls on the same day as a celebratory Full Moon cutting across the Leo/Aquarius axis of the zodiac, the 29th. Full Moons add drama and emotion to the mix but this Full Moon phase could prove to be extra special.
The Big Pattern
The three modern planets are all working together in July from the 15th to the 25th creating the Big Pattern in the cosmos. They are Uranus in Gemini and your travel and study sector, Neptune in Aries and your relationship sector and Pluto in Aquarius and your creativity sector.
Plus, on the 20th & 21st, big planet Jupiter joins the planetary party in Leo and your friendship and group sector.
This powerful combination is linked to partnership and connections for you. Perhaps, you start an internship. Or you meet someone who introduces you to new ideas and collaborations.
Life may be calling you to connect with the world, engage with different cultures and learn about what makes people tick. Explore religion, faith or beliefs in whatever way calls you personally.
This would be an ideal time to put your natural skills and talents to good use. This may include mastering a skill or turning a hobby or passion into a business.
Or perhaps, you’re on a mission to make children’s lives better, either your own children or the children of the world. It can be a big or small mission, what matters is that it’s right for you.
