Virgo Season

This is likely to be a big month for you because so much planetary activity is taking place in your own sign. It’s not a straightforward picture, however, as you’ll hear shortly.

Most importantly, it’s your birthday month and the Sun remains in your star sign Virgo until the 22nd. Plus, your ruler Mercury joins the Sun in Virgo from the 2nd to the 18th, a cosmic reminder to put yourself first.

A special day this month is likely to be the 13th when there’s a magical cazimi conjunction between the Sun and Mercury in your star sign. Plus, there’s a little bit of luck in the mix as both planets make a connection to lucky Jupiter on the 12th.

People matter with Jupiter in Cancer and your friendship and group sector. Turn to your friends for emotional support and reconnect with those friends who are family in your eyes. Lean on your friends if needed and offer help and support in return.

Another key factor to note is that the planet of love Venus moves into your star sign Virgo on the 19th. Venus is the second best planet and often graces you with love, money or gifts. You tend to be more popular when Venus is in Virgo and this could be helpful throughout September.

Eclipse Month

This is because there are two important eclipses taking place this month and they both focus on your star sign. Eclipses are game-changers, they offer a new dimension and a fresh perspective. Sometimes, they bring drama or the unexpected. Other times, they are a step up, a gateway to a new stage in your life.

Relationships are under the gaze of the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Pisces on the 7th. This highlights your relationships, your one-to-one’s, your identity and who you’re becoming. These are the areas where life could take an unexpected turn or you sense that things are changing. Eclipses often have a theme of endings and beginnings, so pay close attention to what happens on or around the eclipse date.

The New Moon Solar Eclipse takes place on the 21st in your star sign Virgo. This is the second New Moon in your star sign. Last month, there was a New Moon at the beginning of Virgo on August 23rd and, this month, the New Moon Solar Eclipse falls at the end of Virgo.

What’s important here is that this is the only Solar Eclipse in the Virgo/Pisces eclipse cycle which began in September 2024 and completes in February 2027. Solar Eclipses are often turbo-powered New Moons which accelerate growth.

However, like the Lunar Eclipse, this eclipse has a theme of endings and beginnings as it’s opposed by Saturn in Pisces, the planet of limitation and obstacles.

Other people might interfere with what you want or you’re held back in some way. It’s worth asking yourself why other people are so important to your success. Are they helping or hindering you? Are you feeling disappointed with someone close or disillusioned with your current progress? These are important questions, especially if you feel stuck or trapped.

During this month’s Solar Eclipse, you may be the one who puts yourself first even if it’s going to disappoint other people.

Libra Season

Money and values are important topics this month. This is because action planet Mars is in Libra and your personal money sector until the 22nd when it hands over the Libra baton to the Sun on the day of the Equinox. Plus, your ruling planet Mercury moves into Libra on the 18th.

Therefore, as soon as September begins, it’s a good month to get things organised and sorted where finances are concerned. When it comes to money, aim for harmony and balance. Adopt a budgeting rule that works for you and get on track with a savings plan moving forward.

This may be linked to what’s happening in your career or your future path as wild-card Uranus is in Gemini and your career and vocational sector. Uranus is active on the 3rd & 20th and turns retrograde on the 6th. Therefore, there could be some surprises and this may be linked to what happens on or around the eclipses.

Mars Power

Action planet Mars moves into Scorpio on the 22nd. When planets are in Scorpio, this encourages you to dive in deep as there are hidden riches to be found when you delve beneath the surface.

Admittedly, this could be a time when secrets emerge or you find out things that you don’t particularly like. Yet, on the whole, it’s worth putting on your detective hat and engaging fully with fact-finding and solving mysteries. 

As Scorpio rules your communication and community sector, it’s a good time to throw yourself into life close to home and reach out and connect with other people.

Push aside any fear or doubt and make your mark. Scorpio season is good news for you regarding public speaking, sales and marketing and sharing what you know. 

You could go back to school and educate yourself or gain new qualifications. Or perhaps, you start a blog or podcast or write for your local paper. You could leap into a community matter or take action in your local neighbourhood. This is about finding your voice and speaking your truth.

The trickiest planetary aspect takes place on the 24th when Mars clashes with Pluto in Aquarius and your work and health sector. This combination can flag up a power grab or a clash of opinion. You could decide to put your principles first and move on from a job or role that no longer fits with who you are becoming.

Eclipse Do’s & Don’ts

It’s a double whammy of eclipses this month. Here are some eclipse tips:

• Try not to fear an eclipse – they are a reminder that you’re not in control.
• Ideally, don’t choose an eclipse date to launch a project or start something new.
• Wait a few days after an eclipse before taking action. Eclipse symbolism is shadowy and hidden.
• Once the eclipse shadow lifts, then you can aim to take advantage of any changes that have occurred.
• Know that eclipses are closely linked to the karmic nodes and wheel of destiny – they often act as a signpost or turning point.
