Time Out
Your ruling planet Venus has returned to Aries and the most hidden sector of your horoscope where it remains throughout the month of May. The other planet in Aries until the 10th is talk planet Mercury.
Aries represents privacy and secrets in your horoscope, it’s about being quiet and turning your attention inwards. Also, it’s about caring for yourself and other people.
You may want more time to yourself at times this month, whether you enjoy solitary activities such as reading or journalling. Or you simply sit quietly in reflection. When Venus is in Aries, it’s an ideal time to tend to your inner life and gently stroke and soothe your soul. The 2nd could be a time when you’re aware of what devotion means to you.
There’s another planet moving into Aries, the planet of responsibility and authority, Saturn. Saturn’s move into Aries emphasizes the theme of solitude and quiet. Saturn’s nature is slow and introspective. You could be made aware of your mortality or feel isolated from others.
Perhaps, you’re prioritising your health and well-being as you step down from a position of responsibility. Or you take on the role of carer or a life of service. You may be pulled back towards the past once Saturn moves into Aries. Or you’re aware of the cycle of karma as the wheel of fortune turns.
This is likely to be a significant period of preparation. You may be studying, gaining qualifications or be involved in important research. Take your time while Saturn’s in Aries. It may not feel like it at times but there’s no rush.
Home & Family
The other planet in a fire sign is action planet Mars. Mars first moved into Leo at the end of 2024 and now it’s retracing its steps. Leo rules your home and family sector and Mars is a lively influence. Perhaps, you’re on the move or you decide to rent out a room. You might step into help someone else in the family. Or ask for support yourself.
Mars is an active planet, where you find drive and ambition. You could have the builders in or have lots of ideas and plans for home and family related matters.
Alternatively, there may be another reason why home is important. Perhaps, your home is a love nest or you’re using your home to coach or care for others.
Venus and Mars come together on the 22nd, a loving alliance. Notice who’s there for you and who you want to help or reach out to. Sometimes, Venus in Aries indicates an affair or unrequited love. Although with Mars in Leo, it’s likely to be passionate, so don’t count out a full-on love affair that leaps into life.
Taurus Season
It’s Taurus season up until the 20th. The Sun represents vitality and energy so make the most of your birthday month and put yourself first. Line up some events that make you feel good about yourself. This might include pampering and looking after your body, image or profile.
It would be a good time to work on yourself, whether you sign up for a personal development course or boost your skills and talents in some way. Invest in yourself so you can be your best self moving forwards.
Turn your gaze towards the future and line up new experiences and adventures. Work out what it is that’s been holding you back and take the right steps to find answers to questions and solutions to problems. In addition, you have the planet ruling the mind Mercury in your star sign from the 10th to the 26th.
Both the Sun and Mercury teams up with the planet of change Uranus in your star sign on the 17th and 24th. Uranus favours all things new, unique and different. This might be your cue to stand out from the crowd or walk your own path.
Uranus is active during the Full Moon on the 12th. Things could feel intense during this month’s Full Moon phase as it falls in Scorpio and your opposite star sign. Plus, Scorpio’s co-ruler Pluto turns retrograde at the start of the month.
Love and money are under the cosmic spotlight during the Full Moon and things could happen quickly. You may be the one who leaps into action and acts spontaneously. Or perhaps it’s a key individual in your life who behaves erratically or brilliantly – it could go either way. You might be breaking free or falling in love.
Gemini Season
The emphasis shifts towards air sign Gemini once the Sun is here from the 20th onwards. And, talk planet Mercury joins the Sun in Gemini on the 26th. Gemini is your personal money sector, linked to your assets and possessions, your values and self-worth.
You may be wheeler-dealing or trading. Perhaps, you want to make some extra cash and you have lots of ideas how to go about it. Gemini’s one of the mutual star signs so be flexible and adaptable and don’t get stuck in a rut when it comes to money and finances.
Also, this month’s New Moon falls in Gemini on the 27th, a symbol of new beginnings. This would be a great date to start over or set your intentions around money. The more you believe in what you’re doing and value your skills and talents, the more in flow you are.
Speak up for what you want financially and talk to other people for ideas and solutions. The 30th could be a stand-out date when you’re ready to ask for what you want or need.
Pluto Retrograde
Power planet Pluto is now firmly established in Aquarius and your career and vocation sector. This is likely to impact where you’re heading and why. Perhaps, you step up into a position of power. Alternatively, one career path comes to an end as you step down from a job or role.
Pluto switches direction on the 4th and will remain retrograde until mid-October. This indicates that there’s no rush regarding your next steps. It might be that inner work is what’s needed to change what’s happening externally.
When Pluto switches direction, you might be up against the authorities or be dealing with a difficult boss. Even more reason to look after no. 1 and focus on creating something new in your own life.
