Planet Venus

On the 4th, just before Venus enters Gemini, she aligns with the planet of change Uranus in Taurus. This is a significant conjunction as both planets are on the verge of moving star sign.
Uranus encourages you to be spontaneous and take a risk. The timing of this conjunction suggests that the wheel of destiny is kicking in and gearing up to move you in a new direction, one that’s deeply personal.
Uranus Enters Gemini
The astrology taking place this month and this year is unique and dramatic. The major backdrop in July hinges on the planet of change Uranus which has been in your star sign Taurus since 2018. If you’ve experienced seven years of change or you’ve currently reached a seven year itch in your job, relationship or other key area of life, Uranus’ influence may be involved.
Notice where you’re feeling restless or want to implement change in your own life, particularly on or around the 4th when Venus and Uranus come together. Also the 7th, the date that Uranus moves out of Taurus.
What happens on or around these dates could feel like a major shift, a new dawn awakening, a new set of values. Uranus is moving into Gemini and your personal money sector and your planet Venus is closely aligned as this event takes place.
Uranus rules technology and all things modern and Gemini is your money sector, linked to your personal values, your possessions and security. This combination could bring something new and exciting into your life, linked to money, wealth or change. You might win the lottery or become a crypto-currency whizz kid. Alternatively, you could decide to shed your possessions and chase a life of freedom instead.
You may start awakening to new possibilities around money and security. Perhaps, you realise that you’ve allowed yourself to be held back or restricted or life’s got in the way. Uranus is the planet linked to freedom and independent moves. Whatever happens, it could bring a shift in your values or a major change around what you own or earn.
Uranus will complete its journey through your star sign Taurus from November 2025 to April 2026 but then it will take up residence in Gemini and your money sector for the next seven years.
Study & Learning
The Sun is in Cancer until the 22nd and this is where you find big planet Jupiter beginning its year-long journey through your communication sector. Jupiter’s the planet linked to travel and education, knowledge and exploration. This gives a nod towards studying or learning something new. You might be on a fact-finding mission or be researching or gathering new information.
These themes are emphasised during the Full Moon on the 10th which cuts across the Cancer/Capricorn axis of the zodiac. You could find out exam results on this Full Moon or make a decision to sign up to a course or study programme.
Travel falls under the Capricorn umbrella and this would be a good time to make up your mind whether to book a trip or not. One way or another, it’s an ideal date to make a major decision.
This is about the bigger picture and the part you play within the world. It’s a time when you may need something greater than yourself to believe in.
Also, as Cancer rules siblings and relatives in your horoscope, you could choose this month to head off on a journey to meet up with family. Gather the clans or start a neighbourhood or community initiative.
Home & Family Moves
Your home and family sector is highlighted this month. The Sun shines bright in Leo from the 22nd and talk planet Mercury is in Leo throughout July. This suggests it’s a good time to catch up with loved ones or make a significant move at home.
There’s a buzz in this area of your horoscope towards the end of July and it’s a positive time to ring the changes and do things differently. The New Moon falls in Leo on the 24th, an excellent date to arrange a get-together or initiate home renovations or a property move.
You might be transported back to the past or be on a trip down memory lane. It is important to note, however, that communication planet Mercury will turn retrograde in Leo on the 18th and remain on go slow until August 11th.
This isn’t necessarily a bad thing as it’s another nod towards journeying into the past and getting together with family you haven’t seen for a long time.
It would be an ideal time for a family celebration. Or perhaps, you find your dream home and you’re waiting to see whether it works in your favour. Breathe life into your dreams and trust that life will move you in the right direction.
Some plans won’t work out this month as the planet of illusion Neptune and the planet of obstacles Saturn both turn retrograde on the 4th & 13th respectively. That doesn’t mean give up on your long-term dreams but the timing may not be right.
Both planets will be back with power and intensity in February 2026. Consider what it is that you’re working towards. Don’t give up if this is true for you.
Mars In Virgo
Finally this month, action planet Mars is in your fellow earth sign Virgo throughout July. This is good news for you as you are one of the sensual, fertile, creative earth signs and you’re likely to feel in your element.
One of the important themes for you is enjoyment. Virgo rules fun, entertainment, luck, children, creative projects and love affairs in your horoscope.
This is about what you ‘give birth to’, what you produce and make. If you’re a typical Taurus, you may have a strong artistic or creative streak. Focus on this side of your nature throughout July and do more of what you love. When planets are retrograde, it’s an ideal time to immerse yourself in a hobby or passion.
It’s potentially a top month for love and romance too, as Virgo rules your romance sector. If you’re looking to meet someone new, don’t stay at home. Make the right moves and be friendly with the people you meet.
This could be an excellent month for dating and mating and upping the fun factor. However, remember the retrograde mantra – enjoy yourself but don’t make any final decisions. And be wary on the 23rd when the lovers of the heavens Venus and Mars clash.
