Turning Points
The planet of communication Mercury turns direct mid-month on the 11th. Mercury has been retrograde since July 18th and it’s been quite a chaotic Mercury retrograde phase .
Sometimes, news or information comes to light on the day Mercury switches direction. You may hear from someone who’s been quiet or communication arrives, ending a delay.
Mercury turns direct in Leo and your home and family sector. Therefore, it’s a good time to reach out to the ones you love and re-open the lines of communication. It’s a positive time to chase up property matters too.
Mercury switching direction can feel like a significant turning point. Plus, there’s another reason why mid-month could prove fortunate. This is because your ruling planet Venus is in Cancer and your communication sector up until the 25th. The other planet in Cancer is expansive Jupiter linked to good fortune. Jupiter will remain in this sector of your horoscope for the next twelve months.
On the 12th of this month, there’s a Venus-Jupiter conjunction in Cancer, a symbol of good fortune. These are the two best planets in astrology and represent big love or big money. Venus in Cancer is caring and kind and you may be doing what you can to help others. Or perhaps, you’re the one to receive an unexpected compliment or gift.
Cancer’s the home and family star sign. Therefore, the two astrological events on the 11th & 12th could be linked.
Leo Season
The Sun is in Leo, the star sign at the base of your horoscope until the 22nd. Plus, talk planet Mercury is in Leo all month and your ruler Venus joins both planets in Leo on the 25th. Leo is your home and family sector. Therefore, it’s a good month to catch up with loved ones or make a significant home move.
The Full Moon on the 9th also highlights your home life, your security and foundations. During this Full Moon, the Sun in Leo opposes the Moon in Aquarius and your career and vocation sector. Your past and future are closely connected during this Full Moon. Perhaps, you’re considering your next steps and you feel the strong pull of destiny or a sense of vocation calling. It would be a positive Full Moon for a family celebration.
Leap forward to the 25th and, as soon as Venus enters Leo, she connects with the outer planets, Saturn and Neptune in Aries and Uranus in Gemini. You could be taking a trip down memory lane. Or perhaps, a benefactor or person from your past steps in to help.
Uranus moved into Gemini last month creating a revolution in your finance sector. You can’t not embrace change when Uranus is active. The trickiest planetary aspect during this period is an opposition between Venus and Pluto on the 27th. Perhaps, a job comes to an end on or around this date. Or you recognise that one future path is closed to you.
Whatever takes place could see you changing your values around money and work. Perhaps, you want to take a step back and lead a slower pace of life. Or you experience a spiritual calling and want to explore your faith. Events on or around the 12th & 29th could tie in as well.
Virgo Season
One of the important themes this month is enjoyment. This is because the Sun enters Virgo on the 22nd and action planet Mars is here until the 6th.
Virgo is a fellow earth sign and rules fun, entertainment, luck, children, creative projects and love affairs in your horoscope. This is about what you ‘give birth to’, what you produce and make. If you’re a typical Taurus, you’ll have a strong artistic or creative streak. Focus on this side of your nature and do more of what you love.
The New Moon on the 23rd is a great date to line up something special. Set new intentions, create your masterpiece or give birth to a baby.
However, immediately after the New Moon, the Sun in Virgo clashes with Uranus in Gemini on the 24th. This flags up a theme of financial change or shifting values. You may recognise where you want or need to spend less money, perhaps linked to children, love or entertainment.
Balancing The Scales
The other important planetary shift this month involves action planet Mars moving into Libra on the 6th. Mars will remain here until September 22nd leading the way into Libra season.
Libra rules your work and routine, your lifestyle and health. It’s about the basics of life and doing whatever’s needed to feel well in your mind, body and spirit. If the work/life balance is out in any way, start to recalibrate those scales as soon as Mars enters Libra.
Libra is the star sign representing balance and weighing things up. The key to the Libra scales is to remember that it’s a constant balancing act rather than finding a permanent state of equilibrium.
Events which play out on or around the 8th to the 10th could reveal more. Again, the theme is around work, money and slowing down. You may recognise that it’s time to prioritise your health and lower your stress levels.
