Virgo Season
As September gets underway, you may feel pulled between being in the world and taking a step back. You may be called towards being more social or more active within society because the Sun’s in Virgo and your friendship and group sector until the 22nd. Talk planet Mercury is here too from the 2nd to the 18th.
You may have a strong drive to make new friends, join a group, club or society or become more involved with society as a whole. Be there for friends and ask for help and advice in return. Team up with other people to benefit one another and create mutually supportive friendships in your life.
A stand-out date is the 13th when there’s a Sun-Mercury cazimi conjunction in Virgo. This could prove special for a friendship or group encounter. Plus, both planets align with lucky Jupiter on the 12th in Cancer and your travel and education sector. It would be an ideal weekend to attend a workshop or plan a study trip abroad.
It’s possible that friendship could develop into love once love planet Venus is in Virgo from the 19th onwards. Although, there’s a lot to navigate before you reach a smooth path.
In addition, you’re wise to keep close tabs on money as wild-card Uranus turns retrograde on the 6th in Gemini and your joint finance sector. Perhaps, you have to switch direction when it comes to money if one income stream isn’t guaranteed. Be wary of mixing money and friendship, especially on the 3rd and 20th.
Eclipse Month
The reason why life might be especially dramatic now for your friendships or group interactions is because there are two eclipses taking place. Eclipses often bring what’s hidden to light and they’re linked to secrets and the unexpected.
There’s a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Pisces on the 7th and a New Moon Solar Eclipse in Virgo on the 21st. This highlights your friends and group activities, society and world events, also children, creativity and lovers.
These are the potential areas of drama or accelerated growth, where change may happen and fast. This could coincide with a social event or big occasion. Or the opposite and a major event gets cancelled or postponed.
You might need to step into help a friend, group, child or lover. Things could change quickly during eclipse season so be flexible and get ready to take action if necessary.
Events this month may be linked back to what was happening last month as there was a New Moon in Virgo on August 23rd at the beginning of the star sign. This month’s New Moon Solar Eclipse on the 21st also falls in Virgo and your friendship and group sector.
Plus, this is the only Solar Eclipse in the Virgo/Pisces eclipse cycle which began in September 2024 and completes in February 2027. The alliances you make or the groups you move on from could be pivotal in your life during this period.
A Solar Eclipse is a turbo-powered New Moon. However, there’s a theme of endings as well as new beginnings. This is because the planet Saturn opposes the eclipse. Perhaps, you’re cutting ties from a friendship group or the door shuts closed behind you. Alternatively, an on-off relationship reaches a ‘commit or quit’ ultimatum.
Libra Season
There may be times when you need more rest or relaxation this month. Perhaps, you’re busy with a personal project or you’re recovering from a bout of ill-health. This has a lot to do with the planets moving through Libra and the most hidden sector of your horoscope.
Your ruling planet Mars is in Libra up until the 22nd when it passes the Libra baton to the Sun on the day of the Equinox. Plus, talk planet Mercury enters Libra on the 18th. This is about inner work for you and turning your attention to your personal development and nourishing your spirit and soul.
This may offer you an opportunity to discover a rich inner life. You could experience a spiritual awakening or be aware of the wheel of fortune and karma stepping in. At the very least, give yourself time and space to be quiet and reflective. Tap into your inner voice and bring your deep sense of knowingness to what’s right for you moving forward.
You could have less work during September as Saturn leaves your work sector on the 1st and Neptune is in retreat in the same part of your horoscope. If in doubt, work your connections as the planet of relating Venus is in Leo and your career and vocation sector until the 19th.
Mars Power
Finally this month, your ruling planet Mars enters your star sign Scorpio on the 22nd. Mars excels in Scorpio and this could bring with it a surge of energy. Mars is a physical planet and you may be prepared to fight for what you want when you have the God of War backing you.
Planets in Scorpio turn the cosmic spotlight towards your personal goals and ambitions and what you want to achieve for yourself. Scorpio rules profile and image. This is your cue to pick up the pace, believe in yourself and make things happen. It’s an exciting planetary energy that’s motivating and purposeful.
Scorpio season is an ideal time for soul-searching, self-analysis or solving mysteries or puzzles. It could bring out the detective within you, as you dig deep for answers.
The trickiest aspect falls on the 24th when your two rulers Mars and Pluto clash in the heavens. Pluto’s currently in Aquarius and your home and family sector. Perhaps, you don’t see eye-to-eye with someone in your family or from your past on or around this date. Be wary of power games and notice whether you’re being called to be more ruthless if you’re to put yourself first.

It’s a double whammy of eclipses this month. Here are some eclipse tips:
- Try not to fear an eclipse – they are a reminder that you’re not in control.
- Ideally, don’t choose an eclipse date to launch a project or start something new.
- Wait a few days after an eclipse before taking action. Eclipse symbolism is shadowy and hidden.
- Once the eclipse shadow lifts, then you can aim to take advantage of any changes that have occurred.
- Know that eclipses are closely linked to the karmic nodes and wheel of destiny – they often act as a signpost or turning point.
