Aquarius Season – Solar Eclipse
The star sign of the moment is air sign Aquarius and this is a busy sector of your horoscope. Talk planet Mercury is here up until the 6th, the planet of relating Venus is in Aquarius until the 10th and the Sun is in Aquarius until the 18th. Most importantly for you, your ruling planet Mars will remain in Aquarius and the star sign at the base of your horoscope throughout February.
Aquarius is the star sign linked to your home and family, your past and where you come from. Perhaps, life’s busy at home or you’re catching up with family members. Alternatively, you might be undertaking a renovation project or need to find somewhere new to live. Whatever’s going on for you, it’s likely to be busy.
The Full Moon on the 1st could be a stand-out date for home and family affairs and the link between your past and your future. You may be ready to make a big decision about your future path. If so, balance your head and heart in doing so.
During this Full Moon, the Moon is in Leo and your career and vocation sector while the Sun is in Aquarius and your home and family sector. This is about the work/life balance and putting structures in place or making plans that you can build on moving forward. It’s a positive time to make a clear decision about your career and future path, your home and family.
In addition, a new eclipse cycle begins this month highlighting the star signs Leo and Aquarius and the foundations of your horoscope. This is always an important eclipse cycle and can be a time when you change jobs, move home or your family situation changes.
Most of the eclipses in this cycle are Solar Eclipses, i.e. turbo-powered New Moons which means that things can happen fast. The first eclipse takes place in Aquarius on the 17th of this month and this eclipse cycle will continue until January 2028.
There is a proviso, however, because erratic Uranus is square the Sun and Moon during the eclipse. Uranus is currently completing its journey through Taurus and your relationship sector. Uranus will leave Taurus on April 26 but this month is unusually active.
Uranus turns direct in Taurus on the 4th and makes square aspects to all the inner planets on the 5th, 8th, 16th & 27th. Therefore, it’s wise to ask who’s the wild card in your life or who’s got other ideas or plans to yourself?
Alternatively, you might be the one who’s considering changing what you thought you would do to accommodate someone else. Be wary of doing so. Or, at least, take your time before rushing into a snap decision.
Pisces Season – Mercury Retrograde
There’s another influence which is strong throughout February, the star sign Pisces. Pisces is a fellow water sign and the planet of love Venus is in romantic Pisces from the 10th. Talk planet Mercury is in Pisces from the 6th and the Sun enters Pisces on the 18th.
This is gorgeous for wishing on a star, dreaming and immersing yourself in fantasy. As a water sign, you know how to engage deeply with inspiration and ideas and activities that feed your soul.
In fact, this is imperative, as everyday life doesn’t always cut it. You need something more to sustain you on a deeper level, an activity, dream or personal quest which allows your spirit to soar.
Pisces represents one of the best sectors of your horoscope ruling your creative talents, your children and the things in life you give birth to. Therefore, this is an ideal time to focus on your self-expression and ensure that play and creativity are foreground. Encourage your inner artist or expand your ideas through visualisation.
As a Sun Scorpio, you have a laser focus and you love having something to get your teeth into which becomes your personal obsession. The current astrology suggests that this is a good time to lose yourself in a passion or creative pursuit.
Pisces rules romance, love affairs and new love in your horoscope. Therefore, if you’re looking for love, don’t hold back.
However, you’re wise to get a jog on before communication planet Mercury turns retrograde in Pisces on the 26th. Mercury will be on go slow until March 20.
This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, although you are wise to put off making a major decision until Mercury’s back to direct motion. Perhaps, you’re the one to change your mind about a romance. Or someone goes quiet on you.
Use the Mercury retrograde phase to review your current situation or dive deep into a creative project or inner work. This isn’t a time to rush headlong through life. Instead, be reflective, find the hidden riches in your past and don’t rule out someone coming back into your life.
Saturn Enters Aries
Saturn moves into fire sign Aries on February 14 where it will remain until April 2028. Aries is your work and health sector and Saturn represents both endings and commitment.
Therefore, a job or contract could come to an end. Or perhaps, you land a steady job as Saturn’s a responsible influence. You may decide to become a volunteer and be of service to other people. In addition, Aries rules employees, lodgers and pets in your horoscope.
Regarding your health and lifestyle, now’s the time to flex your self-discipline and put new habits in place. It’s said that habits take 66 days to bed in, so start something new and make it part of your daily routine.
Saturn/Neptune Conjunction
The Saturn/Neptune conjunction falls in Aries and your work and health sector on February 20. You may decide to give something up or lead a more ascetic lifestyle. If you’re disillusioned with your work, look for a meaningful outlet.
