Turning Points
There’s a significant turning point mid-month when the planet of communication Mercury turns direct on the 11th. Mercury’s been retrograde since July 18th and it’s been an unusually chaotic Mercury retrograde phase.
Mercury turns direct in your fellow fire sign Leo and the part of your horoscope linked to travel, study and the bigger picture in life. It’s where you find meaning and purpose. Sometimes, news or information comes to light once Mercury is back up to speed. Or anything that’s been delayed finally gets moving.
This would be a wonderful time to book a holiday or course. Alternatively, you may find a new religion or seek a spiritual path. Whatever helps you expand your experience of life, it’s here where you’re wise to be open to a new cycle of opportunity and growth.
Look to other people for help and support too. The following day, the 12th, there’s a glorious Venus-Jupiter conjunction in the family star sign Cancer. Jupiter’s your ruling planet, an expansive influence, and Venus is the planet of relating.
This falls in your joint finance sector and it’s a lucky influence. Perhaps, you receive a gift or bonus. Or someone steps in with a solution or a way through a seemingly impossible impasse.
These two astrological events could be linked and you decide to invest in travel or education. Or someone you love treats you to a holiday or trip away. Be open to abundance flooding in.
Venus will remain in Cancer until the 25th and you have your ruling planet Jupiter in your joint finance sector for the next twelve months. It’s an ideal time to work with the law of attraction and be open to wealth and abundance.
Leo Season
Talk planet Mercury is in Leo throughout August and the Sun is here until the 22nd. Leo season is ideally a time to expand your horizons, dream big and yearn to learn and experience more. The other planet moving into Leo is the planet of relating Venus on the 25th.
Travel or being somewhere different could help bring a change of perspective. This is an ideal time of year to fire some Sagittarius arrows high into the sky and see where they land. Plan ahead and look to 2026 and beyond. Try and take advantage of new ideas or opportunities that come your way.
Leo season peaks during the Full Moon in Aquarius which takes place on the 9th. A Full Moon often brings clarity and insight and this Full Moon lights up the travel and educational sectors of your horoscope. You may be involved in a cultural event or be playing your part within society or politics.
It’s likely that other people are going to be involved in your decision making, perhaps a child or lover. This is because of the outer planets working together. This month, Saturn & Neptune in Aries align with Uranus in Gemini on the 12th & 29th. Being around other people could inspire you or be the reason you’re on a mission.
Love too is under the cosmic spotlight and you might be travelling for love. Be open to meeting new people, the more unconventional or different the better.
Virgo Season
There’s another factor taking place this month which puts the focus on your future path and long-term goals. As August begins, action planet Mars is in Virgo and your career and vocation sector up until the 6th. Mars has been flying high at the peak of your horoscope since June 17th. Although the Mercury retrograde phase may have slowed things down.
Mars leaves Virgo but Virgo season begins on the 22nd when the Sun moves into the sector of your horoscope linked to your future path, your status and reputation. There’s a back-to-work vibe when planets are in Virgo and you can get a lot done.
Plus, as soon as the Sun enters Virgo, there’ a New Moon here on the 23rd. This is when new beginnings can be set in motion. Sometimes, life kicks in to move you in a new direction. If one door closes this month, get ready for a new door to open during the New Moon phase.
However, it has to be said that things look lively. This is because the Sun clashes with Uranus in Gemini on the 24th when someone may stand in your way. Uranus can be a disruptive influence in your partnership sector.
Plus, next month is eclipse season and the current eclipses are changing the foundations of your life. There’ll be another New Moon, a Solar Eclipse, in Virgo on September 21st. Aim high, ride the wheel of fortune and be open to change.
Social Scene
The Libra scales are in evidence this month once passion planet Mars moves into air sign Libra on the 6th. Mars will remain here until September 22nd, leading the way into Libra season. For you, this flags up your friendship and group sector.
This creates dynamic planetary energy in one of the most social sectors of your horoscope. This fits for you if you’re a typical Sagittarius. You’re one of the extrovert star signs and you often enjoy a wide circle of friends and varied activities.
If you’ve been thinking about joining a club, group or society, it’s an ideal time to do so. If you want to widen your social circle, put time and energy into your friendships. Create friendships that are mutually supportive rather than being a one-way influence.
Channel Mars’ energy into peace-loving activities as Mars in Libra is a positive Mars for collective and collaborative ventures. People power is a major theme for you this month.
