Virgo Season
September is likely to be one of the most important months of the year for you as eclipses light up your star sign Pisces and your opposite star sign Virgo. This links back to events in March when there was a Lunar Eclipse cutting across the Virgo/Pisces axis of the zodiac.
Plus, it’s not just the eclipses lighting up your star sign and your opposite star sign. There’s a lot going on here. Firstly, it’s Virgo season which means the Sun is shining opposite you in the zodiac and remains in Virgo until the 22nd. Talk planet Mercury is here from the 2nd to the 18th and the planet of love and relating Venus moves into Virgo on the 19th.
This means that other people are important in your life throughout September so work at your relationships and your business partnerships. The stand-out date is the 13th when there’s a magical cazimi conjunction between the Sun and Mercury in Virgo. Listen out for synchronicities or do something special with the one you love.
This feels positive for you because both planets align with your ruling planet Jupiter, a lucky influence, on the 12th. Jupiter’s in your fellow water sign Cancer and this highlights children, romance and all the good things in life.
Love could flourish under these stars. Or your creative catch someone else’s eye. You may be enjoying a hobby or leisure activity and it’s an ideal time to prioritise your children and the ones you love.
Eclipse Month
The eclipses take place on the 7th & 21st. Firstly, there’s a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in your star sign Pisces on the 7th followed by a New Moon Solar Eclipse in your opposite star sign Virgo on the 21st.
Eclipses are game-changers and bring what’s hidden to light. Sometimes, they coincide with dramatic events or the unexpected which is why they’re linked to the highs and lows of life, a roller-coaster ride.
This is important for you regarding your one-to-one relationships, both personal and professional. This might be a month when you’re getting hitched or forming a business partnership. Alternatively, you’re ready to move on and break free from a relationship or joint venture that’s no longer working for you.
The Virgo/Pisces eclipse cycle began in September 2024 and will complete in February 2027 and this could be a transformative period in your life. This eclipse cycle highlights relationships, also your identity and who you are.
Relationships are where there may be more intensity in your life and it’s wise to pay close attention to what’s happening. Alternatively, you may recognise the impact your actions have on other people.
The New Moon Solar Eclipse in Virgo on the 21st follows on from the New Moon in Virgo on August 23rd, one at the beginning of the star sign, one at the end. A New Moon is a symbol of new beginnings and a New Moon Solar Eclipse can be dramatic and accelerate growth.
Plus, this is the only Solar Eclipse in the whole Virgo/Pisces eclipse cycle. It feels significant. However, the eclipse is opposed by Saturn, the planet of authority and discipline, which returns to your star sign on the 1st. This flags up a theme of duty and responsibility and evokes the symbolism of an ending, as well as a new beginning.
Consider why you’re being pulled back into the past as Saturn returns to your star sign one more time. Tap into your emotions and feelings and don’t let Saturn pull you down. The more you surrender to life, the easier it may be to keep moving forward one step at a time.
Libra Season
The other influence under the cosmic spotlight is money. This is because of the planets in air sign Libra and your joint finance sector. Action planet Mars is here until the 22nd when it passes on the Libra baton to the Sun on the day of the Equinox. Plus, talk planet Mercury moves into Libra on the 18th.
This suggests it’s a positive time to work alongside other people to improve your finances. Aim for balance and harmony when it comes to money and share what you have equally. The more you’re in flow with the natural rhythm of the universe, the more you may attract abundance into your life.
Perhaps, changes at home or within your family are the reason why you need to pay close attention to money, investments and future finances. This is due to wild-card Uranus turning retrograde in Gemini and your home and family sector on the 6th. You could change your mind about a property deal. Or you realise that you don’t have as much support from loved ones as you hoped for.
Mars Power
Finally this month, action planet Mars moves into your fellow water sign Scorpio on the 22nd. This puts the spotlight on travel, education and any activity that expands your experience of life, philosophy and spirituality included.
When planets are in Scorpio, this is a good time to take yourself out of your normal environment and enter a place where you can allow your dreams to expand and flow. Being close to water or the sea would be ideal.
When you find your special place or you connect more deeply with the meaning of life, then you feel at home. Explore whatever calls you, whether it’s a spiritual or artistic path. Find your muse and go with the flow.
If you’re involved in the media, publishing or the law, aim to get ahead and create a buzz around what you’re doing. This is about your beliefs and principles, what matters to you on a deep level. Stand up for your rights and think of yourself as a citizen of the world.
The trickiest planetary aspect is when Mars clashes with Pluto on the 24th. Be wary of getting involved in a power game or similar. This could mean that your travel or study plans come to an abrupt end. Let go of what’s not working out and create space and room for new energy to flood in. This is a key theme of the eclipses as well.

It’s a double whammy of eclipses this month. Here are some eclipse tips:
- Try not to fear an eclipse – they are a reminder that you’re not in control.
- Ideally, don’t choose an eclipse date to launch a project or start something new.
- Wait a few days after an eclipse before taking action. Eclipse symbolism is shadowy and hidden.
- Once the eclipse shadow lifts, then you can aim to take advantage of any changes that have occurred.
- Know that eclipses are closely linked to the karmic nodes and wheel of destiny – they often act as a signpost or turning point.
