Partnership Goals
The planet of love and relating Venus is in your opposite star sign Virgo until the 13th. This highlights relationships and partnership in your horoscope. You could fall head-over-heels in love or be in a romantic mood in the first two weeks of October.
Events may peak on or around the 8th, when Venus aligns with your ruling planet Jupiter in Cancer and your romance sector. This suggests that success could come via other people or in partnership with others.
Alternatively, it means that your partner or child is doing well and there’s cause for celebration. Or you’re making a romantic move that brings you more love and connection.
Be decisive in love as things could take a different turn on the 11th when Saturn in your star sign Pisces opposes Venus. Perhaps, love scares you or you’re not ready for a relationship mid-month. This combination can coincide with sadness or symbolise an ending or completion.
Balance & Flow
Last month’s eclipses fell in Virgo and Pisces and there’s a shift in planetary energy this month as the personal planets are moving through air sign Libra. Talk planet Mercury is here until the 6th and the Sun is in Libra until the 23rd. Plus, the planet of love and relating Venus enters Libra on the 13th.
This feels more balanced and could help restore harmony after last month’s rocky eclipse season. Libra’s the diplomat and mediator. Therefore, when it comes to your personal and professional relationships, use your people skills to charm and persuade others.
Full Moon/New Moon
Libra rules money in your horoscope and this month both the Full Moon and New Moon phases light up the financial sectors of your horoscope.
The Full Moon takes place on the 7th cutting across the Aries/Libra axis of the zodiac. This is the financial axis of your horoscope and Full Moons often bring clarity. This is when the light of the Moon is at its brightest and an ideal time to trust your intuition regarding money and security.
Libra rules all forms of joint finances in your horoscope, e.g. mortgages, taxes, inheritance, alimonies, savings and debt. Whereas Aries rules your personal money, your assets and possessions, your values and self-worth.
The Full Moon may highlight where there’s a discrepancy around money or a disagreement. You might have one idea, whereas your partner, either personal or professional, has a completely different idea.
Also, note whether you’re being overly generous with money and whether this is doing you any favours. It’s not a time to act based solely on your emotions.
Air signs dominate during the mid-month period – Gemini, Libra, Aquarius – and air signs are logical, rational and objective. Therefore, you’re wise to make decisions based on your head rather than your heart. This may become clear to you on the 14th when there’s a Grand Air Trine in the heavens.
This could be a time when you’re ready to let go of an attachment to your past. Or perhaps, you’re considering what’s best for your home and family. Try not to be overly emotional when it comes to money and do what’s right and fair for everyone involved.
The New Moon takes place in Libra and your joint finance sector on the 21st, a symbol of new beginnings. This would be a good date to apply for a mortgage or loan or deal with a financial adviser.
There’s a flow of energy during the New Moon around money, joint finances and shared resources. Listen out for new ideas and be open to gifts or money coming in. Yet, you’re still wise to engage your head as well as your heart when making a financial decision, especially if it pulls on your emotions.
Scorpio Season
Scorpio season begins officially on the 23rd when the Sun enters Scorpio. However, Scorpio’s intensity is evident throughout October for a couple of reasons.
Firstly, communication planet Mercury is in Scorpio from the 6th to the 29th. This is great for research work and diving deep into esoteric or hidden wisdom. Scorpio is the sector of your horoscope which is expansive and all-encompassing. When planets are here, it encourages you to be interested in the world and to improve your knowledge.
Secondly, action planet Mars is in Scorpio throughout October and this is where you find your drive, your get-up-and-go. Mars is encouraging you to expand your horizons. This would be a good time to consider where you want to travel or go on holiday. Or look into a study course or think about teaching and sharing your knowledge.
As Mars is speedy, you could leap into action and head off on a trip or grab a last-minute adventure. Things could happen fast and you’re right to be enthusiastic and do whatever’s necessary to motivate yourself into action. If this involves fundraising or gaining funds for a much-desired dream, so much the better.
Scorpio activity peaks on the 20th when there’s a powerful Mercury-Mars conjunction encouraging you to walk your talk and do what you say. You might be involved with people from different cultures or backgrounds as Scorpio represents global connections. Or you’re diving deeper into your faith or religion.
Then, in the last week of October, there are two remarkable Grand Water Trines taking place. They involve Mercury and Mars in Scorpio aligning with your traditional ruler Jupiter in Cancer and Saturn in your star sign Pisces.
This feels significant for you so consider what you’re getting involved in. Whatever it is, it’s likely to expand your life and give you a deeper sense of meaning and purpose.
Water signs, like your star sign Pisces, are emotional and empathic, compassionate and intuitive. You could be going on a pilgrimage or spiritual journey. Or you sign up to a higher education course or step into a role as teacher. You could get published or be in the media under these creative and inspirational stars.
The only proviso is that communication planet Mercury is slowing down towards the end of the month getting ready to turn retrograde in Sagittarius on November 9th. After this date, things could get delayed and any current negotiations may take longer than expected.
See this as a cosmic nudge to say yes to life now while you’ve got the planets on your side. Don’t delay or procrastinate and commit to following your dreams.
Neptune Returns To Pisces
Last month, get real planet Saturn returned to your star sign Pisces, the last star sign, on September 1st. This month, your modern ruling planet Neptune returns to Pisces on the 22nd. Your star sign is an emotional water sign, a place where the ego dissolves and you encounter the vast universe and one-ness of life.
It could feel emotional when Neptune returns to Pisces. Yet, this is also a completion as both planets are going to move on in a few months time. Saturn’s been in Pisces since March 2023 and Neptune’s been in your star sign since 2011.
Therefore, consider what you’re diving back into. A personal project, a personal issue? Where are you keen to turn dreams into reality? Where do you know you need to work on your vision for what next?
Sometimes, when planets are in Pisces, this is calling you to deepen your trust and faith in the universe. Alternatively, you may be aware that it’s a time when you need to surrender and let go. There may be a theme of acceptance. Or a cosmic reminder to reorient your compass in a new direction.
Pluto Turns Direct
The slowest-moving planet Pluto turns direct in Aquarius, the star sign linked to technology, equality and the collective on the 14th. Pluto’s themes are transformation and deep psychological change.
Pluto’s move through Aquarius turns your gaze inwards. This is a reflective placing for the planet of self-transformation. Therefore, you might recognise that outer changes in your life start with deep inner change or you’re on a powerful path of self-discovery.
Yet, be vigilant that you don’t fall into negativity or allow the weight of the world to bring you down. As a Sun Pisces, you’re sensitive and empathic. Put firm boundaries in place to protect yourself, especially if you’re working with other people in your role as healer or coach.
