Libra Horoscope September 2025
Virgo Season
This is likely to be a month of highs and lows and you may have to constantly realign your Libra zodiac scales. This is partly because, throughout September, there’s a lot of planetary activity in Virgo and the most hidden sector of your horoscope.
Virgo’s your previous star sign and the Sun is here until the 22nd. Plus, talk planet Mercury’s in Virgo from the 2nd to the 18th and, most importantly for you, your ruling planet Venus enters Virgo on the 19th.
Therefore, it’s important that you learn when you need to relax, rest and retreat. Time out can be healing and you may be pulled back into your past, as you deal with a personal situation or loss.
Yet, it’s not a good idea to be too introverted in the month ahead or spend too much time lost in your thoughts. If you’re aware that you’re going round in circles, seeking answers without resolution, pace yourself, be kind and slow things down. It might help to express what you’re feeling, either writing in a journal or talking to someone in confidence.
A stand-out date is the 13th when there’s a Sun-Mercury cazimi conjunction in Virgo. This is often magical and both planets align with lucky Jupiter on the 12th. Jupiter’s in Cancer and your career and vocation sector. Therefore, trust your intuition around career and your future path, listen out for synchronicities and go back into the past to resurrect an idea or job opportunity.
As a Libra, it’s the connections you make that can propel you forward. You’re a natural diplomat and mediator and your people skills are second-to-none. Make your mark, trust your instincts and keep your eye on your future goals. Faith is a key theme for you this month and doing whatever’s necessary so you don’t lose your faith or trust in the universe.
Eclipse Month
There are two powerful eclipses taking place this month and eclipses often bring what’s hidden to light. Secrets or confidences can emerge and you could be dealing with sensitive information. Only take on what you can handle and if you’re feeling sensitive stay away from tragedy or news that makes you despair. Create an invisible boundary around you when necessary and nurture your spirit.
The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse takes place on the 7th in Pisces and the New Moon Solar Eclipse takes place in Virgo on the 21st. Immediately, this indicates that it’s important to look after yourself and focus on your well-being.
When there’s strong activity in Virgo, your hidden sector, and Pisces, your health sector, learn to love yourself fully and be kind to yourself. Ensure you get plenty of sleep, eat well and rest and relax when necessary. If you find your mind running away with you or your emotions overwhelming you, return to nature to ground yourself.
This might be a month when you’re shedding what’s difficult or letting go of what’s no longer needed. This might be linked to your work and routine, your lifestyle or health. Most importantly, look at ways to eliminate stress. It won’t be easy if a job comes to an end now but, with hindsight, you may see this is the turning point you need and a chance to start afresh. This eclipse season could be when you break down in order to break through.
The Virgo/Pisces axis not only highlights your work and health, also service and devotion to others and your spiritual path. Last month on August 23rd, there was a New Moon in Virgo and this month’s New Moon falls in Virgo on the 21st and is a Solar Eclipse.
This is the only Solar Eclipse in the Virgo/Pisces eclipse cycle which began in September 2024 and completes in February 2027. A Solar Eclipse is like a turbo-powered New Moon, a symbol of new beginnings. Therefore, this may be about personal transformation and could coincide with an ending as well as a new beginning.
Think about how you’re spending your time this month. It’s here where your Libra scales can be valuable for you, considering how you balance the hours in your day. If you’re wasting your time, be firm with yourself and create new plans and strategies to help your productivity and well-being. This is an important month to think about the information you’re receiving and use your time wisely.
Sometimes, this is a period in life when you have to take good care of yourself. Or you’re caring for someone close. You may be closely tuned into your deeper emotions, as you’re drawn back towards the past.
Libra Season
Libra season begins officially on the 22nd when the Sun enters your star sign Libra and it’s your birthday month. This is the day of the Equinox. There’s much to celebrate and it starts with you. Sometimes, the simple questions are the best, e.g. ‘what do I want and need?’ or ‘how can I bring more joy and pleasure into my life?’
It’s not only the Sun in Libra this month either. Action planet Mars is in Libra until the 22nd and talk planet Mercury enters Libra on the 18th. Therefore, the spotlight’s firmly on you, so make the most of it. Be self-centred when necessary and ensure you get your needs met.
The 16th could turn out to be a lovely date when the lovers of the heavens, Venus and Mars, unite. This links your personal sector with your friendship sector.
Admittedly, there could be a few disappointments this month. Or perhaps, you have to change your plans. This is because wild-card Uranus turns retrograde in your fellow air sign Gemini on the 6th and clashes with Mercury on the 3rd and your ruling planet Venus on the 20th.
Aim to be flexible if travel or study plans don’t get the go-ahead. Eclipse months are always a time to listen to what life’s telling you and learn to go with the flow.
Mars Power
Action planet Mars moves into Scorpio and your personal money sector on the 22nd. It’s here where you may need to be focused and go in deep. Scorpio not only rules money in your horoscope, also your assets, possessions, your mind-set, your values and self-worth.
For you, money is potentially a psychological matter and the more you believe in yourself and value what you do, the more you attract prosperity into your life.
Mars is encouraging you to be more ambitious when it comes to earning money. However, there could be another reason why you’re motivated or money’s urgent.
This is because Mars clashes with Pluto, the planet of loss, on the 24th. There could be financial conflict on or around this date, perhaps with a child or lover. Alternatively, you may recognise what you lack or are unable to do for the ones you love and this is the drive you need to power forward.
Eclipse Do’s & Don’ts
It’s a double whammy of eclipses this month. Here are some eclipse tips:
- Try not to fear an eclipse – they are a reminder that you’re not in control.
- Ideally, don’t choose an eclipse date to launch a project or start something new.
- Wait a few days after an eclipse before taking action. Eclipse symbolism is shadowy and hidden.
- Once the eclipse shadow lifts, then you can aim to take advantage of any changes that have occurred.
- Know that eclipses are closely linked to the karmic nodes and wheel of destiny – they often act as a signpost or turning point.
