However, be wary on the 4th when there’s a fierce Mars-Uranus opposition taking place. This combination can coincide with accidents so don’t take any unnecessary risks. Or it could flag up a dispute or argument that turns nasty. Pace yourself and avoid anyone who’s in a rage.
Mercury Retrograde
Also this month, talk planet Mercury is retrograde from the 9th to the 29th. Mercury switches direction in Sagittarius and your communication sector. Therefore, it could be a double whammy of communication chaos. Mercury rules transport, the money markets and all forms of communication.
Sagittarius represents siblings, relatives and neighbours in your horoscope. And Mercury retrograde is a classic time of misunderstandings so tread carefully when it comes to communication.
The communication planet leaves Sagittarius on the 19th and moves back into Scorpio and your personal money sector. Therefore, you’re wise to ensure your finances are sorted sooner in the month rather than later. At the same time, get ready to be flexible and adaptable when it comes to money.
The Mercury retrograde phase is an ideal time to review your finances, a good time to renegotiate but not make major investments or final decisions around money.
When a planet’s retrograde, you don’t have all the facts at your fingertips, which is why it’s worth biding your time, until you know what’s what. Be prepared for some stops and starts and potential delays around money.
However, it is a good time to trust your intuition, review your situation and see what emerges. It’s worth sowing seeds that could prove fruitful further down the line.
Full Moon/New Moon
Also this month, the Full Moon in Taurus on the 5th and the New Moon in Scorpio on the 20th highlight the financial axis of your horoscope. Money is important this month, so keep close tabs on your finances.
The Sun is in Scorpio and your personal money sector until the 22nd and your ruling planet Venus moves into Scorpio on the 6th. Therefore, it’s a good month to focus on finances and do whatever’s needed to balance the books.
However, there is another planet pulled into the financial picture which is active during both lunations – the Full Moon and the New Moon. Uranus is the planet of the unexpected and is in Taurus and your joint finance sector from the 8th onwards. Plus, there are some volatile oppositions from Uranus to the inner planets on the 19th, 21st and 30th.
This is another reason why you may need to be extra flexible and adaptable where money’s concerned. Have plans A, B & C up your sleeve and don’t put all your cash eggs in one basket.
What takes place this month could help you see where to cut ties so you become financially independent. Or a job or income stream may come to an end and you have to rethink what next. Perhaps, you want to go it alone financially and not rely too heavily on another person or financial institution.
Anything goes with the planet of the unexpected Uranus in action. Be wary of investing too much money online as Uranus rules technology. It’s not the time to take a huge financial risk when Uranus is behaving erratically.
Uranus Re-enters Taurus
Uranus is the planet of change and has been in Taurus and your joint finance sector for the majority of the last 7 years. On July 7th, Uranus left Taurus and moved into air sign Gemini. However, this month, on the 8th, Uranus returns to Taurus for one last time before taking up residence in Gemini on April 26, 2026.
Therefore, consider what might be coming to completion over the next few months. Or where you’re having to wrap things up financially.
Perhaps, you’re gearing up to make a big decision around finances or you recognise that your values are shifting and changing. It might be external events which are the catalyst for change.

Grand Water Trines
Amidst the chaotic astrology playing out this month, there’s a beautiful flow of energy between planets in water signs. Expansive Jupiter is in Cancer and turns retrograde here on the 11th while the planet of boundaries Saturn is in Pisces and turns direct here on the 28th. This means that both planets are closely connected at 25° Cancer/Pisces throughout November.
The inner planets align with Jupiter and Saturn on the 17th, 22nd & 26th creating a Grand Water Trine in the star signs Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces. These trine aspects are positive for you when it comes to work and money matters. This is where there’s a flow and an emotional connection to whatever’s going on for you.

Alternatively, you may be aware of having emotional support from people you work with or people you’re involved with financially. It can play out in different ways but water signs favour intuition, creativity and compassionate ventures.
