Fire Sign Energy
There’s a lot to look forward to this month because of the focus on fire signs. Communication planet Mercury is in fire sign Sagittarius as the month begins and is joined by action planet Mars on the 4th.
Sagittarius is the fun sector of your horoscope, an ideal time to embrace life, hang out with your kids and pursue your creative hobbies. Your ruler the Sun will move into Sagittarius on the 22nd so these key sectors of your horoscope are under the cosmic spotlight throughout November.
However, there are other factors to consider. Firstly, Mars in Sagittarius clashes with Uranus in Gemini on the 4th in a challenging opposition. Be wary of getting involved in an argument or dispute during this period. Things could turn nasty. Or perhaps, you fall out with a friend or a group in which you’ve been involved.
Secondly, communication planet Mercury turns retrograde in Sagittarius on the 9th. Therefore, things may not work out the way you’d planned.
Mercury Retrograde
The Mercury retrograde phase takes place from the 9th to the 29th and cuts across two star signs. Mercury retreats back through fire sign Sagittarius until the 19th when it enters water sign Scorpio. Mercury will only return to Sagittarius on December 11th.
Therefore, if you’re involved in any ongoing negotiations with a child, lover or playmate, you may have to play a waiting game. Sometimes, people go quiet on you when Mercury’s retrograde.
Don’t push too hard if this is the case but do keep close tabs on the ones you love. Or there may be misunderstandings which make communication tricky. Be patient and bide your time.
When communication planet Mercury returns to Scorpio on the 19th, you may want to dive in deep. The second half of the Mercury retrograde phase is great for retreat and inner work. It’s a good time to reconnect with people from your past or take a trip down memory lane.
If you’re moving home, there could be delays while Mercury’s on go slow. Or home and family take up a lot of your time and energy. At times this month, it may feel like you’re walking a precarious tight rope.
Full Moon, New Moon
Your ruler the Sun is in Scorpio at the base of your horoscope until the 22nd. Scorpio rules your home and family, your past and where you come from. Both the Full Moon in Taurus on the 5th and the New Moon in Scorpio on the 20th highlight the foundations of your life.
You may be on the move this month or be transitioning to a new domestic situation. There might be a turning point for your career or future direction and there could be a clear divide between your home and your work, your past and your future.
You may be spending more time at home than usual. Or perhaps, you’re catching up with long lost relatives or delving into the past and your family tree. You might be in the process of moving home, renovating your home, or changing things around to suit you. Beautifying your home could kick in once Venus, the planet of art and beauty, moves into Scorpio on the 6th.
Yet, there’s another planet pulled into this month’s activity, especially around the New Moon on the 20th. That planet is unpredictable Uranus in Taurus and your career and future sector. Whatever’s going on in your working life, the theme is change.
Uranus favours freedom and freelance work, being a rebel or doing things differently. And, Uranus in Taurus clashes with the inner planetary bodies in Scorpio on the 19th, 21st & 30th. This combination often coincides with surprise or the unexpected.
Perhaps, you have to stop work to take care of your family. Or a job comes to a sudden end and you need to turn to the ones you love for financial help or emotional support.
There could be a reverse move or you’re contemplating how you can do something differently. The Mercury retrograde phase encourages a time of review and reassessment.
You do have to pay attention to money and work matters this month. In fact, this could bring you comfort or solace, keeping things ticking over, returning to basics, caring for your self and others. When in doubt, revert to the slow life, eat well and channel your energy into nurturing and nourishing yourself and the ones you love.
Uranus Re-enters Taurus
For the last 7 years, wild-card Uranus has spent of most of its time in Taurus and your career sector. Uranus is the planet of change and Taurus rules your career and vocation, your future path, your status and reputation.
Uranus left Taurus earlier this year on July 7th. Perhaps, this coincided with the end of a job or contract. Or you moved away from a difficult situation and took yourself off to pastures new.
However, this month, on the 8th, Uranus is back in Taurus for one last visit before it takes up residence in air sign Gemini on April 26, 2026.
Uranus rules technology and all things modern and it’s the freelance planet, so consider what this means for you and why your situation may be changing. Perhaps, your finances are shifting and changing too and you need to consider your next steps carefully.
Uranus is one of your partner planets, so a split from a partner or an unexpected event could be the reason why you’re having to rethink what next. Uranus is the planet of surprises and especially active during the New Moon on the 20th.
These are the key areas for you where endings and beginnings are foreground – work and money. Nothing is final this month but you may be in a completely new work or money situation come April 2026.
Grand Water Trines
Amidst the chaotic astrology playing out this month, there’s a beautiful flow of energy between planets in water signs. Expansive Jupiter is in Cancer and turns retrograde here on the 11th while the planet of boundaries Saturn is in Pisces and turns direct here on the 28th. This means that both planets are closely connected at 25° Cancer/Pisces throughout November.
The inner planets align with Jupiter and Saturn on the 17th, 22nd & 26th creating a Grand Water Trine in the star signs Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces. These are the hidden sectors of your horoscope and there’s a link between your home and family, your finances and your past.

It could be an emotional month if you’re immersed in a sentimental journey or you’re handling loss or grief.
