Sagittarius Season
The Sun is shining bright in your fellow fire sign Sagittarius up until the 21st. This isn’t the only planet in Sagittarius either as passion planet Mars is here until the 15th and the planet of love and relating Venus is in your fellow fire sign until the 24th. Plus, talk planet Mercury joins the Sagittarius party on the 11th.
On the one hand, this is about partying, having fun and throwing yourself fully into the lead-up to the festive season. Your star sign Leo has a child-like quality. Therefore, it’s a great time to be with children and let your inner child out to play.
Line up some top entertainment and make the most of any enjoyable festive events taking place. Go and see a festive lights show and actively let the light into your life.
Romance too is on the agenda, as Sagittarius rules love affairs in your horoscope. This would be a top month to go on a date or ask for an introduction. You could meet someone spontaneously when you’re out and about being social.
Fire signs – motivation, joy, adventure – are your domain and Sagittarius rules all the good things in life, like romance, children and pregnancy, creative projects, entertainment and luck. It’s an ideal month to prioritise play, at least as much as work.
On the 20th, there’s a New Moon in Sagittarius, a symbol of new beginnings. This would be an ideal date for a party. Plus, it’s a positive time to set your intentions for 2026 so fire some arrows high into the sky. Consider all the Sagittarius-ruled themes in your life and what you want more of moving forward.
Saturn & Neptune
Also this month, there’s a Full Moon on the 4th which cuts across the Gemini/Sagittarius axis of the zodiac. Full Moons are traditionally a time of celebration and you may be out partying and having fun. It would be a good Full Moon to do so. Gemini is your friendship and group sector and an ideal time to reach out to other people and widen your social circle.
Full Moons tend to heighten emotions and this month’s astrology feels especially emotional. This is because of the emphasis on the water signs, Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces. There’s a final Grand Water Trine on the 6th & 7th pulling you back into the past and turning your focus towards your home, family and finances.
Plus, both Saturn and Neptune are in Pisces and your joint finance sector. Last month, Saturn turned direct here and, this month, Neptune turns direct in Pisces on the 10th. Both planets are completing their journey through this sector of your horoscope and they will move on during the first two months of 2026.
Therefore, consider what financial issue may be coming to completion. What’s being resolved or finalised? Whatever’s going on, it could illicit different emotions, such as sadness, grief or regret. Try not to let negative emotions dominate. Yet, at the same time, allow your feelings to flow so they can be released.
All the inner planets moving through Sagittarius square Saturn and Neptune this month on the 9th, 14th, 17th, 21st, 24th, 30th & Jan 1st. This suggests there could be some financial restrictions.
And, you’re wise not to fall prey to a scam or seduction. Keep your wits about you when it comes to money matters and don’t allow anyone to persuade you to part with your hard-earned cash. This applies especially to children and lovers.
Yet, Saturn and Neptune in Pisces aren’t only about tangible money matters. There’s a spiritual element here and an invitation to surrender to life and put your trust and faith in the universe. It might be a time when you favour prayer or meditation.
Perhaps, your values are shifting and changing and this means you want to do things differently moving forward into a new year. It doesn’t feel as if a materialistic path or goal would benefit you as much as leaning into a goal that stems from your true values.
Work & Health
Also during December, the focus turns towards the practical earth sign Capricorn. Mid-month, on the 15th, action planet Mars is the first to enter Capricorn. This is followed on the 21st, the day of the Solstice, by your ruler the Sun and the planet of love and relating Venus enters Capricorn on the 24th.
Capricorn is your work and health sector and a practical, down-to-earth influence. If you’ve been burning the candle at both ends in the first two weeks in December, you might be ready to slow down a little in preparation for the festive period.
What could help you in the run up to Christmas is team work and delegation. This is a sign not to go it alone but to lean on other people and gather support around you. This may relate to your work or your routine if you’re in charge of the festivities.
Even though the holiday period is on the horizon, it could benefit you to do what you can to ensure you go into the festivities full of energy and with a plan. If you’re typical of your star sign Leo, you often love nothing more than an opportunity to get organised and manage your time well.
