Aquarius Season – Solar Eclipse
Aquarius is the star sign of the moment as all the inner planets are moving through it. Communication planet Mercury is in Aquarius until the 6th and the planet of relating Venus remains here until the 10th. In addition, the Sun remains in Aquarius until the 18th and action planet Mars will be here throughout February.
This turns the cosmic spotlight towards money in your horoscope and Aquarius rules your assets and possessions, your values and self-worth. Therefore, this would be a positive time to get on top of finances and put systems in place which can help the financial process. Decide what money means to you and where your values lie and use modern technology to help boost your progress.
Also this month, the Full Moon on the 1st lights up the financial axis of your horoscope cutting across the Leo/Aquarius axis of the zodiac. This would be an ideal date to make a clear decision about money and balance your head and heart in doing so.
Money matters are only going to become more important to you moving forward as this month a new eclipse cycle begins. And, the eclipses are highlighting the star signs Leo and Aquarius and the money sectors of your horoscope.
What’s notable about this eclipse cycle is that nearly all the eclipses are Solar Eclipses, i.e. turbo-powered New Moons. The first Solar Eclipse falls in Aquarius and your personal money sector on the 17th and this eclipse cycle continues until January 2028.
Solar Eclipses often coincide with accelerated growth when things happen fast propelling you forward at top speed. You could become bold and daring around money over the next couple of years.
There is a proviso this month, however, because wild-card Uranus is square to both the Sun and the Moon during the eclipse. Uranus is currently completing its journey through Taurus, a fellow earth sign. Taurus rules play in your horoscope rather than work and when planets are here, you want to lean into good times.
This flags up a desire for freedom and you might be in the mood to take a financial risk or throw caution to the winds where money’s concerned. However, Uranus is unusually active this month as it turns direct on the 4th and squares all the inner planets on the 5th, 8th, 16th & 27th. Both eclipses and Uranus often coincide with unexpected events, a surprise that comes your way.
Perhaps, there are extra expenses linked to a child or lover. Or you get an opportunity to invest in some top-level entertainment that doesn’t come cheaply.
The best advice when Uranus is active is to engage your head and your heart before leaping in. Perhaps, you’re wise to put off a last-minute deal until you’ve had a chance to think things through carefully.
Pisces Season – Mercury Retrograde
Also this month, people count as the planets move into the emotional water sign Pisces. Talk planet Mercury is first on the 6th followed by the planet of love and relating Venus on the 10th. Finally, the Sun moves into Pisces on the 18th.
Pisces is your communication and community sector. Therefore, this isn’t a time to be on your own. Instead, reach out to other people. Whether you want to ask for help and support or offer fun and friendship, encourage the flow of love and connection.
If you’re looking for love or companionship, this would be an ideal time for making new connections and finding people of like minds. There’s a gentle vibe to your communications, offering you an opportunity to relate on a deep level.
This is about education and being inspired by other people. Attend a talk, read books that are recommended and embrace learning and knowledge. If new invitations come your way, follow them up. Step out of your comfort zone and explore new ways of thinking and relating. What you read or hear during this period could be pure inspiration and fuel your ideas.
Pisces is a compassionate star sign linked to your community and neighbourhood. At its best, Venus in Pisces is unconditional love. This combination is connecting and inclusive, kind and caring.
Follow your emotions and open your heart. Themes of forgiveness are strong, whether you want to heal a rift or say ‘I’m sorry’. This is about speaking from the heart, whether you say ‘thank you’ more or compliment other people. Kindness breeds kindness – keep this mantra in mind.
On the 26th, talk planet Mercury will turn retrograde in Pisces and remain on go slow until March 20. This can be a double whammy of communication chaos when the planet of communication is retrograde in your communication sector. Therefore, be wary of misunderstandings and double check communications and correspondence.
However, Mercury retrograde encourages you to slow things down and take a step back. You could immerse yourself in a reading or writing project. Or being reflective and relaxing more helps you to listen closely to your inner voice.
Saturn Enters Aries
Saturn is your ruling planet and it’s always a significant shift when Saturn changes star sign. On February 14, Saturn moves into Aries, the star sign at the base of your horoscope, where it will remain until April 2028.
Aries rules your home and family, your past and where you come from. This may be a time when you’re thinking about putting down roots or settling somewhere. Alternatively, there could be a significant ending in your life, perhaps a break with the past.
You may be involved more with your parents or decide to explore your ancestry and family tree. You could be returning to the past in a way you hadn’t envisaged previously. Saturn’s linked to history, also duty, responsibility and the importance of tradition.
Saturn/Neptune Conjunction
The Saturn/Neptune conjunction falls in Aries and your home and family sector on February 20. This turns the cosmic spotlight towards your past and your legacy. Where is home is a good question to ask?
