Sagittarius Season
The Sun is in Sagittarius and the most hidden sector of your horoscope until the 21st. Plus, action planet Mars is here until the 15th and the planet of relating Venus until the 24th. In addition, communication planet Mercury returns to Sagittarius on the 11th. Sagittarius is the star sign before yours. And, this is often a time of preparation for you, when the focus turns to your inner world.
It’s rarely a quiet time of life, however, as life often speeds up in the weeks leading up to the festive period. Sometimes, you feel less confident when the Sun is in Sagittarius and you want to indulge the introvert side of your nature and be quiet rather than noisy. You could turn up to a festive party and not want to be there, for example.
Therefore, this could be your cue to take a step back from a social situation that’s not for you. If you’ve been too involved with other people or burning the candle at both ends, slow things down and line up some quiet time, some peace and solitude, alongside the parties.
There’s a New Moon in Sagittarius on the 20th, a symbol of new beginnings. This New Moon is an ideal time to reorient your compass towards the future and fire some arrows high into the sky to see where they land. Spend some time journalling or listening to your inner voice and set your intentions for 2026.
Saturn & Neptune
Also this month, the Full Moon takes place on the 4th and cuts across the Gemini/Sagittarius axis of the zodiac. Gemini rules your work and health, your lifestyle and routine. Therefore, during this Full Moon, you might be trying to get the balance of life right in readiness for the coming year.
If you’re under stress or you’re feeling pressure from your place of work or other people in your life, take a step back and slow things down. A Full Moon is an ideal time to make a clear decision about what stays and what goes.
Another key feature of the month ahead involves your ruling planet Saturn. Last month, Saturn turned direct in emotional water sign Pisces and your communication and community sector. This month, boundless, sentimental Neptune turns direct in Pisces on the 10th.
Plus, both planets are involved in a host of square aspects with the inner planets as they move through Sagittarius. The key dates are the 9th, 14th, 17th, 21st, 24th, 30th & Jan 1st. This could play out in different ways.
For example, you may need to put firm boundaries in place regarding other people in your life. Consider whether you’re over-giving or over-sharing. Alternatively, a personal or sensitive issue could weigh heavy on you this month. This might be about your own path or a role in which you’re caring for someone else or other people.
You may find out that someone isn’t who you thought they were. Or perhaps, you come face-to-face with morals or values that are very different to your own. Pisces rules neighbours, siblings and relatives in your horoscope. Keep your down-to-earth common sense intact and do what’s right for you.
It could be the news that’s getting you down as Pisces rules the media. Whatever voice is overly negative, you’re wise not to let it dominate and affect you in a detrimental way. This includes your own inner voice and any negativity that creeps in. Take on a daily practice of affirmations or gratitude or read books that make you feel good.
And, most importantly, find your own relationship with prayer, meditation, religion or the spiritual path. Essentially, this is what the holiday period is all about. Find your community, know what brings you inner peace and where faith lies.
Capricorn Season
What will help you this month is the planets moving into your star sign Capricorn from mid-month onwards. Action planet Mars is the first on the 15th and ideal for helping you set some personal goals and make them happen.
Then, on the 21st, the Sun enters your star sign Capricorn, the day of the Solstice. This is the start of your birthday month and an ideal time to celebrate you. The Sun represents energy and vitality, confidence and warmth and this may be the ideal tonic if you’re struggling or you’ve been feeling down.
In addition, the planet of love and relating Venus moves into your star sign Capricorn on the 24th and this is a gorgeous symbol for the festive season. Be around the ones you love, say yes to love and embrace loving relations. The planet of love and money, art and beauty Venus will be in your star sign until January 17th.
