Fire Sign Energy
There’s strong planetary energy in the fire sign Sagittarius as the month begins. Talk planet Mercury’s here and is joined by action planet Mars on the 4th. These two planets working together are dynamic and go-getting, encouraging you to do what you say and put energy into your everyday routine, your lifestyle and health.
If you’re looking for work, Mercury in Sagittarius is great for writing your CV and sending off job applications. Don’t procrastinate, however, as Mercury will turn retrograde on the 9th slowing things down.
Plus, there’s a wild-card opposition between Mars in Sagittarius and Uranus in Gemini on the 4th and it’s wise to act cautiously on or around this date. Don’t take any unnecessary risks as a Mars-Uranus opposition can be a symbol of accidents. It’s spontaneous and exciting but not the best day to leap into a situation feet first.
Mercury Retrograde
Communication planet Mercury turns retrograde on the 9th in your work and health sector. This could coincide with a change to your routine whether a contract comes to an end or you’re slowing down because of your health.
Use the Mercury retrograde phase to review and reassess what next. Perhaps, you’ve been neglecting other people. Or you recognise that you need to change things around if you’re to be there for the ones you love.
This has a lot to do with the fact that Mercury returns to Scorpio on the 19th during its retrograde phase. Scorpio is a fellow water sign and, if you’re a typical Cancer, you respond to life through your emotions. Plus, Scorpio rules children, lovers and playmates in your horoscope.
Consider what this means for you and where you might be needed. It’s not necessarily the best time to start a conversation or heart-to-heart when Mercury’s on go slow. However, it is ideal for digging deep and finding out what’s going on beneath the surface. You may have to engage with some taboo issues as November progresses.
Also, Mercury retrograde in Scorpio and your play sector is encouraging you to consider how much fun you’re having. If life’s become all work and no play, it’s an ideal month to turn things around. Scorpio’s your creativity sector so go back to an old hobby or dive deep into an art-related project.
Sometimes, the best advice during the Mercury retrograde phase is to chill out, prioritise enjoyment and do less not more. You may decide to prioritise your family or children. It’s here where life isn’t necessarily simple but could bring you back to yourself.
Love & Friendship
Scorpio not only rules play, children and creativity projects in your horoscope, it also rules romance. And, the planet of love Venus moves into Scorpio on the 6th where it will be for the rest of November.
This feels exciting for you and you could dive into a love affair or illicit relationship while Venus is in Scorpio. It’s likely to be illicit or furtive because of the Mercury retrograde phase playing out at the same time. Sometimes, you’re keeping a secret or holding your cards close to your chest while Mercury’s on go slow.
Plus, this month, both the Full Moon in Taurus on the 5th and the New Moon in Scorpio on the 20th highlight the good things in your life like romance, children and pregnancy, creative projects, entertainment and fun.
The Taurus/Scorpio axis highlights the social sectors of your horoscope. It’s about your friends and group activities, your involvement with society, politics, communities or humanitarian goals. It’s about how you express yourself out in the world.
However, wild-card Uranus is active during the New Moon in Scorpio and makes powerful oppositions to the inner planets on the 19th, 21st & again on the 30th. This suggests that you could decide to follow an alternative crowd.
Or perhaps, you get thrown out of a group or you’re the one who decides to part ways. Uranus is the planet of splits and change. You may experience a sense of being an outsider and not part of the ‘in crowd’. If so, even more reason to find your own path in life and embrace your passion.
Perhaps, you have to change your plans to step in to help a child, friend or loved one. Or unexpected news is the reason why you have to move things around. Uranus is a topsy-turvy influence and unusually dominant this month.
Uranus Re-enters Taurus
Uranus is the planet of change and the unexpected and has been in the earth sign Taurus for most of the past 7 years, ruling your friends, groups and social activities.
Uranus left Taurus on July 7th and moved into communication sign Gemini and the most hidden sector of your horoscope. This may have stirred things up from your past or reconnected you with a deeper sense of yourself.
Sometimes, Uranus in the most hidden sector of your horoscope can be a time of enlightenment or awakening when you’re ready to explore the unknown and set off on a new journey to discover more about yourself. Alternatively, you may have been caring for someone close over the last four months.
With Uranus moving back into Taurus where it will remain until April 26, 2026, this is shaking up your friendships but could do so in a good way. Perhaps, you have someone in your life who’s challenging you and bringing you out of your shell. Notice what emerges when Uranus returns to Taurus on the 8th.
Grand Water Trines
Amidst the chaotic astrology playing out this month, there’s a beautiful flow of energy between planets in water signs. Expansive Jupiter is in Cancer and turns retrograde here on the 11th while the planet of boundaries Saturn is in Pisces and turns direct here on the 28th. This means that both planets are closely connected at 25° Cancer/Pisces throughout November.
The inner planets align with Jupiter and Saturn on the 17th, 22nd & 26th creating a Grand Water Trine in the star signs Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces. Therefore, this confirms that your emotions are foreground this month and, at times, you may find the emotional realm overwhelming.
