Sagittarius Season
As the month begins, the Sun, Venus and Mars are all in fire sign Sagittarius. Plus talk planet Mercury joins the Sagittarius party on the 11th. This could feel like a move out of the dark and into the light.
Being a fire sign, you often embody fire sign characteristics when the planets are boosting the same element as your own. Fire signs are motivated, positive, entrepreneurial and joyful.
Sagittarius is the star sign that rules travel and study in your horoscope. It’s about viewing the bigger picture, expanding your vision of what’s possible and discovering your role within the world.
Therefore, it’s a good month to look ahead to next year and line up some new adventures and experiences. This is especially important during the New Moon in Sagittarius on the 20th, an ideal date to set your intentions for 2026.
There’s a lot going on out in the world and it’s becoming ever more important to focus on your spirit and keeping your energy levels high. Saturn & Neptune Squares
The Full Moon on the 4th cuts across the Gemini/Sagittarius axis of the zodiac, the education and learning axis of your horoscope, also ruling travel, religion and beliefs. This is an ideal Full Moon to commit to your next steps and focus on your future plans.
However, throughout December, there’s a theme of completing and things falling away. If you’re to start over in 2026, it’s worth considering what’s coming to an end and what you need to let go of before the year’s out.
This is because of the planets Saturn and Neptune completing their journeys through Pisces, the last star sign. Saturn turned direct here last month and Neptune turns direct in Pisces this month, on the 10th. Plus, all the faster-moving planets moving through Sagittarius clash with Saturn & Neptune. The key dates are the 9th, 14th, 17th, 21st, 24th. 30th & Jan 1st.
This could be disorienting or limiting as Neptune rules illusion and fantasy, while Saturn rules obstacles and fear. There may be times when you find it harder than usual to make decisions. Or perhaps, you’re overthinking things. Try to remain patient if this is true for you and do the best you can. When in doubt, slow down rather than speed up.
There may a theme of self care or caring for others this month. Alternatively, you want to take time out and put your trust in prayer or your faith in the universe. Sagittarius is an optimistic star sign and sees the glass half full. Keep tight hold of what you believe in this holiday season.
There can be themes of confusion or betrayal when Saturn and Neptune kick in. Therefore, keep your trust antennae on high alert and don’t believe everything you read or hear.
However, at its best, this month’s astrology could feel enchanting and magical and take you beyond yourself. Find answers in unusual places, explore life beyond the ego and connect with the universe.
It’s a positive month to do things differently and say yes to new experiences. Expand your horizons in whatever way’s possible and get more involved with people from different backgrounds and cultures. There may be some important learnings that come your way in the month ahead.
Cardinal Power
If you’re feeling as if life is a bit of a muddle and a mess or your time management is out of the window, you may appreciate the shift in energy into the cardinal star sign Capricorn. Your ruling planet Mars is here from the 15th, the Sun enters Capricorn on the 21st, the day of the Solstice and they’re both joined by the planet of relating Venus on the 24th.
Capricorn is the star sign at the peak of your horoscope and, as a Sun Aries, you’re a cardinal star sign. This planetary energy is often easier for you to deal with as it’s direct and straightforward. You often find life easier when you have less options rather than more.
Therefore, if in doubt, focus on your career, your vocation and your long-term goals. Early 2026 brings a significant shift for you and a brand new start in life.
