Aries Horoscope August 2025
Turning Points
The big news this month is communication planet Mercury turning direct on the 11th. It’s been quite a chaotic Mercury retrograde phase which began on July 18th. Therefore, the turning point mid-August could bring a sense of relief.
This is often a date when news or information comes to light. Mercury turns direct in your fellow fire sign Leo, the star sign linked to children, lovers, creativity and play in your horoscope.
Therefore, you may hear from someone who’s been quiet recently. Or perhaps, a creative block shifts or the tickets you want for a show or big event materialise. Reach out to other people mid-month and reopen the lines of communication.
The other exciting astrological event involves the two best planets Venus and Jupiter making a powerful conjunction in Cancer and your home and family sector on the 12th. Venus is in Cancer until the 25th but the best planet Jupiter will be here for the coming twelve months.
This could coincide with a family celebration. Or perhaps, you find your dream home.
Alternatively, it might be that the two events mid-month are linked and there’s good news for a child. Consider what this month’s turning points might be for you and attract luck and abundance into your home and family affairs.
Leo Season
The Sun remains in Leo until the 22nd and talk planet Mercury will be here throughout August. Plus, the planet of love and relating Venus enters Leo on the 25th.
This favours romance and new love. Leo is the star sign which represents play rather than work in your horoscope. It’s an ideal time to embrace good times and actively seek pleasure. At the very least, you need a constructive outlet for your passion and energy.
When fire sign energy is strong, it encourages you to look on the bright side and make the most of life. It could be a glorious month to fall in love, make a baby, be proud of your offspring, enjoy yourself, line up top entertainment, start a new hobby or a creative project. Think about what you can ‘give birth to’ or bring into the world. Now’s the time when your creative juices are flowing freely.
Leo season peaks during the Full Moon which takes place on the 9th with the Sun in Leo opposite the Moon in Aquarius. Therefore, it’s an ideal Full Moon weekend to enjoy yourself to the full.
Aquarius rules friends and groups in your horoscope and your role within society or politics. It represents your hopes and wishes so breathe life into what you want for yourself, your friends and the world.
This month is about your social connections and stepping in to help celebrate other people’s wins. Or perhaps, you’re the one treating the ones you love.
Virgo Season
The Sun enters earth sign Virgo on the 22nd. Virgo follows on from Leo and is a reminder to keep tabs on your work and lifestyle, your routine and daily habits. You may already be well underway with a new health regime or fitness schedule as August begins.
This is because your ruling planet Mars is in Virgo up until the 6th. The planet which rules drive and ambition has been in Virgo since June 17th. The Sun’s move into Virgo returns the cosmic spotlight to everyday affairs.
Plus, immediately that the Sun enters Virgo, there’s a New Moon here on the 23rd, a symbol of new beginnings. This is a powerful New Moon as it falls right at the start of the earth sign. A New Moon in Virgo is an ideal time to turn to a new page, get organised and apply for a new job or start a new health routine.
There’ll be a second New Moon in Virgo on September 21st, although next month it will be a Solar eclipse. There’s a theme of change in your life when it comes to work and health, partly because of the September eclipses.
Also, because the Sun clashes with unpredictable Uranus on the 24th. Uranus is now in Gemini and your communication and community sector. You might be getting involved in local events, especially if you’re unhappy with what’s happening in your community. Uranus can activate the rebel side of your own Aries nature.
Things could be changing fast this month and next. Or perhaps, you’re juggling a crazy schedule or commute. Do your best to get your ducks in a row and consider what’s going to help you both at work and regarding your health moving forward.
Love & Justice
Your ruling planet Mars enters your opposite star sign Libra on the 6th, the sign of relating. Mars will remain here until September 22nd, leading the way into Libra season. Straightaway, you know that success lies in the power of your relationships, your one-to-ones, both personal and professional.
Mars isn’t always relaxed in Libra, however, because you can’t do things your way and you can’t always get ahead as fast as you would like. You have to take other peoples’ needs into account or rely on other people more than usual.
In some cases, you will positively enjoy handing over the reins of life, encouraging or allowing someone else to take the lead. While Mars is in Libra, aim for equality in a relationship and find the right people in your life whom you can partner with.
Mars in Libra is the peace lover. This is a great Mars for fighting for equality or justice out in the world in a non-violent way. Plus, as soon as Mars enters Libra, it connects with all four slower moving planets Saturn & Neptune in Aries, Uranus in Gemini and Pluto in Aquarius.
Therefore, events which unfold between the 8th -10th could be pivotal for you. Where are you being encouraged to step up and play your part within society or community? This desire to make a difference as an individual gets triggered again on the 12th & 29th.
It may be holiday season here in the northern hemisphere. Yet, it looks as if you may become increasingly involved in what’s happening either in your local neighbourhood or within wider society and the world.
