Star Of The Show
This is Aries season and the Sun is in your star sign until the 19th. The Sun shines brightly, it’s birthday time for many of you, and the Sun in Aries often boosts your confidence, vitality and energy levels.
You’re the one in the limelight, so use this opportunity well. Perhaps, you’re winning over and schmoozing other people. You might be more popular or attractive to others. Alternatively, you may be discovering where you can be of help and service within society.
Everyone may want a piece of you, in a good way. You’re either popular, in demand or the person everyone needs. If you want to boost your image and profile or further a personal goal or aim, the second half of April is the time to make it happen. And here’s the reason why.
Mercury Turns Direct
March was a retrograde month with two planets in reverse motion. On March 15th, talk planet Mercury turned retrograde in your star sign Aries. This month on the 7th, Mercury turns direct in Pisces, a significant turning point. It may have been a chaotic few weeks while Mercury’s been retrograde.
Listen out for news or information that comes to light once Mercury’s back up to speed. You may feel ready to make an important decision once Mercury has the green light to move forward and pick up speed. This may be linked to your past and where you come from.
Mercury returns to Aries on the 16th and this could coincide with a fresh start. Turn to a new page, start journalling and set your intentions regarding your next steps. Speak up for yourself and be assertive. The more focused you are, the more you can get done.
Venus Turns Direct/Full Moon
The second turning point takes place on the 13th when the planet of love and relating Venus turns direct. Venus has been retrograde for longer than Mercury, since March 2nd.
Like Mercury, Venus turns direct in Pisces and one of the hidden sectors of your horoscope. You may have been involved in an affair or unrequited love. Or perhaps, you’ve been learning to love yourself more fully. It may have been a time of secrets and inner work while Venus has been in retreat.
Listen out for insights mid-month. What you discover could mean you change your mind about your next steps. What you thought you wanted has dissolved or faded away and you have some new personal goals or aims.
On the same day that Venus turns direct, the 13th, there’s a Full Moon taking place which cuts across the Aries/Libra axis of the zodiac. Full Moons can be dramatic, a time when emotions are heightened. Yet, they’re wonderful for celebration and enjoying yourself fully.
This could be a pivotal Full Moon for your one-to-one relationships. The light of the Moon is at its brightest during the Full Moon phase and you often see your situation with clarity. What emerges could feel painful, although there’s a theme of healing taking place.
Venus returns to your star sign Aries on the 30th and this may represent the end of a personal journey or chapter in your life
Money Matters/New Moon
Money is under the cosmic spotlight from the 19th onwards, a good time to crack on with money-making ideas or plans. This is because the Sun moves into earth sign Taurus and your personal money sector.
In your horoscope, Taurus rules money, assets, possessions, your values and self-worth. Therefore, it’s an ideal time to pay attention to your accounts, your earnings and your outgoings. Consider what’s of value in your life, notice how your confidence is connected to your self-worth and ensure you’re paid what you deserve.
The New Moon on the 27th falls in Taurus, an ideal date to invest wisely and make good money moves. There is a proviso, however, because on the same day as the New Moon, the 27th, your ruling planet Mars is in action.
Mars’ Power
Mars starts the month in Cancer your home and family sector and this is where you may have been unusually busy or chaotic over the last few weeks or months. This month, the 4th/5th would be good dates to make a financial commitment, one that offers you more security.
Then, on the 18th, Mars returns to fire sign Leo and you may be returning to a creative project which first came to light in the last two months of 2024. Or perhaps, you’re fired up for romance, making babies or feeling lucky. The 19th could be an exceptionally creative day.
Yet, on the 27th, Mars is confronted by power planet Pluto in Aquarius and your friendship and group sector. These two mighty planets have clashed twice before, on November 3, 2024 and January 3, 2025. Consider whether a conflict situation is coming full circle or a falling-out can finally be resolved. As Mars is your planet, you might be the one who’s expected to sort things out.
However, be wary of what you get involved in during the last ten days of the month and ensure it doesn’t cost you dearly, either financially or emotionally.
