November 2026 Astrology
Your horoscopes for November are here.
Mercury Turns Direct
November 13
Mercury spends the first two weeks of November retrograde in Scorpio, the star sign linked to the stock markets, power, death and loss, healing and transformation.
Then, communication planet Mercury turns direct in water sign Scorpio on November 13 after being retrograde since October 24.
Mercury turning direct is the time to plug back in, chase things up, reconnect with other people and get back on track with what you need to do. Reopen the lines of communication and get things moving.
Secrets could emerge mid-November. Don’t reveal anything important until Mercury is back to direct motion. Listen out for news and new information.
Venus Turns Direct
November 14
Venus, the planet linked to love and money, spends the first two weeks of November retrograde in Libra, one of her signs of rulership. She spent the first three weeks of her retrograde phase in sexy Scorpio.
Then, Venus turns direct in air sign Libra on November 14 (November 13 in some countries) after being retrograde since October 3.
This means that mid-November is a double whammy turning point of green lights. Use it well, make up your mind and reestablish strong and loving relationships.
Venus rules money and Mercury rules merchandise, the markets and trade. Therefore, mid-November may be a significant turning point for finances.
Certainly, it’s a positive period to sort things out and get back on track with money matters. Love too may reach a significant turning point during this period.
The Mars Factor
Action planet Mars remains in fire sign Leo until November 25. On November 16, Mars aligns with the best Jupiter in Leo, a glorious symbol for being bold and courageous, having conviction and strong self-belief.
However, Mars is already in its shadow phase as it’s moving towards its next retrograde phase.
Mars will turn retrograde at 10° Virgo on January 10, 2027 and turn direct at 20° Leo on April 1, 2027.
This may seem a way off but Mars moves to 20° Leo on November 4 and will be slowing down throughout November.
This doesn’t mean do nothing. In fact, and especially if you’re Mars-ruled, i.e. Aries or Scorpio or you’re a Virgo or Leo, you’re wise to make the most of Mars in direction motion and get ahead wherever Mars falls in your horoscope.
A Change of Star Sign
The Sun remains in deep water sign Scorpio until November 22. The first two weeks of November are an ideal time to dive deep into Scorpio themes while the planet of the mind Mercury is retrograde here.
Think detective work, psychoanalysis and research. Be a witch, a magician, commune with the dead and listen out for signs, messages and spooky synchronicities.
The Sun’s move out of Scorpio and into Sagittarius on November 22 can sometimes feel like emerging out of the dark and into the light. Scorpio’s a more introverted nature while Sagittarius is a more extroverted nature.
For many people, this is leading into Thanksgiving and the party season on the run up to December’s festivities, which fits the Sagittarius theme.
While other people may be choosing to follow Mars’ lead and be slowing down. In the northern hemisphere, the nights are drawing in and it’s an ideal time to bring more hygge into your life.
This basically means lighting candles, creating a warm atmosphere at home and focusing on cosiness and comfort and simple pleasures.
However you choose to spend the month of November, I wish you a wonderful few weeks ahead.
Moon’s Phases
New Moon Scorpio
November 9
A New Moon is a symbol of new beginnings. Traditionally, a New Moon is the time to launch a project, begin something new and start over.
This is the beginning of the waxing phase of the Moon cycle, an ideal time to set your intentions for the month ahead. Make a wish when you first catch sight of the crescent Moon, a couple of days after the New Moon date.
This month’s New Moon falls in Scorpio during the Mercury retrograde phase, so hold off on those new beginnings until a few days later.
It’s a positive New Moon on the whole and you may get a sense that things are starting to shift and change at the start of this significant week, November 9.
Where are you gearing up to be proactive and move things forward on the double whammy green light turning point mid-November?
Full Moon Gemini
November 24
During the Full Moon, the light of the moon is at its peak. Traditionally, a Full Moon is the time to trust your intuition, make important decisions and bring matters to completion or culmination.
This is the start of the waning phase of the Moon cycle, an ideal time to release and let go of what’s no longer needed in your life.
During this Full Moon, the Sun is in Sagittarius and the Moon in Gemini, star signs linked to travel and transport, education and learning, beliefs and religion.
Plus, as the Full Moons are now falling in early degrees of the star signs, the Sun and Moon pull in the three modern planets, Uranus in Gemini, Neptune in Aries and Pluto in Aquarius.
The three modern planets are continuing to work together in a Minor Grand Trine aspect and, in air and fire signs, speeding up the use of AI and climate change.
Notice what happens during this Full Moon as wild-card Uranus is the key player. Uranus rules modern technology, lightning and electricity. It’s a game-changer when events can take place out of the blue.
