Scorpio Season
The Sun is in Scorpio, the star sign at the peak of your horoscope, up until the 22nd. Scorpio rules your career and vocation, your status and reputation. It’s about your future path in life.
This could mean you’re exceptionally busy and, hopefully, doing well. You could be on a mission in life as a strong sense of purpose and a desire for change and progress pulls you forward.
What you want to achieve might not be for your own ends but taps you into something greater, something beyond yourself. You may be involved with other people in helping to create a better world.
However, it is important to note that communication planet Mercury is retrograde in Scorpio for the first two weeks of the month. This is a time when you’re wise to keep your cards close to your chest and not reveal everything. Be careful that other people don’t steal your ideas. Scorpio’s a secretive nature and be wary of anything corrupt or underhand.
The Sun/Mercury cazimi conjunction on the 4th could prove revelatory so listen out for a sign or synchronicity that points you in the right direction. This is the midway point of the retrograde phase. Who could you talk to that will benefit you in your plans to make progress or on your future path?
Plus, there’s a lovely New Moon in Scorpio on the 9th, an ideal date to set your intentions around your career, vocation or next steps. This is the start of an exciting week when things can begin to move into the right direction.
Mercury Turns Direct
Also this month, there are two significant turning points. Firstly, the planet of communication Mercury turns direct on the 13th. Mercury’s been retrograde since October 24th and it’s an unusually dark and intense Mercury retrograde phase.
Sometimes, news or information comes to light once Mercury is back up to speed. Or anything that’s been delayed finally gets the go-ahead. It’s an important turning point for you to take advantage, speak up and find your voice.
Reach out to the right people or try again where things didn’t work out in the past. Deliver your presentation, go viral on social media, whatever can help you in your chosen career or on your future path. Be powerful and take charge of your destiny.
Venus Turns Direct
The second turning point comes on the 13th/14th, when the planet of love and relating Venus turns direct after six weeks retrograde. Venus began its underworld journey on October 3rd.
Like Mercury, Venus turned retrograde in Scorpio and then retreated back into your fellow air sign Libra and your travel and study sector. This is where Venus turns direct mid-month and you can now book a holiday or course with confidence. Alternatively, you may have been on retreat while Venus has been on go slow or taken time out from a busy schedule.
Whatever helps you expand your experience of life mid-month, it’s here where you’re wise to be open to new opportunities and growth. You may be keen to go on a sabbatical or take up a job or position abroad. Or you recognise that you’re wise to gain new qualifications which could help you on your future path.
Consider whether relationships are an important part of your decision making. This is because the best planet Jupiter is in Leo and your relationship sector. Plus, Jupiter aligns with Venus, the goddess of love, not once but twice, on the 4th & 28th.
Perhaps, you’re travelling to be with a loved one. Or you’re on the move because of your partner’s plans. If you’re looking for love, this could indicate a holiday romance or meeting someone on a study course.
It suggests that the right people in your life could make the biggest difference. Perhaps, you meet a teacher, agent, lawyer or expert who’s the exact right person to meet your needs.
The Mars Factor
There’s another reason why this could be a significant month for you when it comes to love and relationships. This is because passion planet Mars is moving through Leo and your relationship sector.
And, on the 16th, Mars and Jupiter come together in a stunning planetary conjunction in Leo and your opposite star sign. Sagittarius Season
The Sun’s move into Sagittarius on the 22nd flags up your friendship and group sector. This turns the focus towards one of the social sectors of your horoscope. You may be keen to expand your circle of friends and try out some new activities.
If you’ve been thinking about joining a club, group or society, it’s an ideal time to do so. If you want to widen your social circle, put time and energy into your friendships.
Create friendships that are mutually supportive rather than being a one-way influence. The Sun’s move into Sagittarius is positive for collective and collaborative ventures.
It’s a cosmic reminder that getting the right people on your side can help your career progress. You might be handing work over to others or widening your career network.
Finally, the Full Moon on the 24th falls across the Gemini/Sagittarius axis of the zodiac and the social sectors of your horoscope. This could be a date when you tap into your Aquarius archetype and find a cause to follow. You often get involved in social, environmental or humanitarian activities.
