Scorpio Season
The Sun is moving through water sign Scorpio up until the 22nd. Scorpio rules your friends and group activities, your social, political, environmental and humanitarian alliances. It’s about society and how you fit into the world.
This is about people and connections urging you to reach out, connect and recharge your friendships. It’s a top month to get involved with a new group and find a way to help others and make a difference to people’s lives.
However, be aware that communication planet Mercury is retrograde in Scorpio for the first two weeks of the month. And, this can be a time of misunderstandings when people go quiet on you. Don’t give everything away, keep your cards close to your chest and be secretive. Other people could be doing the same.
You may be especially aware of the power of your voice, especially during the Sun/Mercury cazimi conjunction on the 4th. This is the midway point of the retrograde phase and often brings insight or illumination. Perhaps, you’re seeking a new way to connect with others or share your thoughts in a different context.
It could be an exceptionally busy time when you’re juggling different connections, networks, ideas and projects. Some of the connections you make could be powerful, for you or them. This might be a relationship with a third party. Or you’re the one who’s stepping up your game.
Use the New Moon in Scorpio on the 9th to your advantage and reach out to a person in a position of power. Either that, or take on a new role of responsibility or authority.
Mercury Turns Direct
This month, there are two important turning points . Firstly, the planet of communication Mercury turns direct on the 13th. Mercury is back up to speed after three weeks retrograde.
It’s been an unusually intense Mercury retrograde phase since Mercury moved into reverse motion on October 24th. Perhaps, you’ve had friends going through a tough time. Or there’s been office politics within a group that you’re a member of.
Often, news or new information is revealed as Mercury switches direction. It’s a good time to reopen the lines of communication and get back in touch with people. It’s a good time to make up your mind about your involvement within a group or set of friends.
Venus Turns Direct
There’s another turning point when the planet of love and relating Venus turns direct on the 13th/14th. Like Mercury, Venus turned retrograde in Scorpio but turns direct in Libra and your career and future sector.
Venus has been retrograde for a longer period since October 3rd. If you’ve recently lost the support of someone influential, reach out to them mid-month. It’s a powerful time for making connections that can benefit you on your future path.
Venus rules women so consider how working alongside other women could help you. When you get the support of the right people on your team or by your side, this can make a difference. Notice who’s a positive influence in your life. Events mid-month could reveal more.
In addition, Venus in Libra aligns with the best planet Jupiter not once but twice this month, on the 4th & 28th. Jupiter’s currently in Leo and one of the money sectors of your horoscope.
This combination promises good news for work and money matters. Use your connections well and join forces with other people to better your own prospects.
The money sectors of your horoscope are Aquarius and Leo and this is where there are two formidable planets, Jupiter in Leo and Pluto in Aquarius. When they’re working well together, they promise big money and hidden riches.
The Mars Factor
Also this month, action planet Mars is moving through Leo and your joint finance sector. Wherever Mars is in your horoscope, this is where you find your drive and ambition.
Therefore, it’s a good time to turn your attention to your finances. If you need to earn more or sort out a contract or financial transaction, get busy. If you’re in a position to help other people out, emotionally or financially, this would be a supportive time to do so.
Plus, there’s a sense that what you give, you receive in return when planets are in Leo. One of the loveliest dates in this respect is the 10th when the lovers of the heavens, Venus and Mars, are in alignment. Work alongside your loved ones to make life better for everyone concerned.
Sagittarius Season
You’re wise to balance your commitments carefully later this month. Ideally, have one foot in the world and one foot firmly placed wherever you find quiet or solitude.
This is because the Sun moves into Sagittarius and the most hidden sector of your horoscope on the 22nd. This turns the focus towards your inner life when you may want or need more time and space to be quiet and reflective..
Engage actively with your inner state, whether you meditate, do yoga or follow a spiritual teaching. Learn how to keep your inner voice calm and use this period for self-reflection.
Sometimes, when there are planets in Sagittarius, you need to be vigilant about self-care. Or you’re caring for someone close.
Even though you may choose to spend more time on your own towards the end of November, ensure there are people in your life who can support and advise you. Talk to a friend, a counsellor or coach. Or if you’re a believer, talk to God.
The Full Moon on the 24th feels especially powerful this time around. It cuts across the Gemini/Sagittarius axis of the zodiac and pulls in all three modern planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.
You could find a way to change things around during this Full Moon to suit you better. It might include a revolution for your daily life, your health or the way you can be of service to others.
