Scorpio Season
As November begins, the Sun is in water sign Scorpio where it remains until the 22nd. Traditionally, when the Sun is in this sector of your horoscope, it’s a time for rest and retreat. Inner work is recommended or you’re caring for yourself and other people more than usual.
Perhaps, you’re preparing for a new stage in life and this is causing some worry or concern because you’re heading into the unknown. If you’re overly anxious, it’s wise to find a way to stop and slow down and quieten your mind. Being in nature is an ideal way of restoring calm and balance or take regular exercise.
You may be craving more time alone than usual. Alternatively, you might be studying or be busy with research or planning. You could be squirrelled away preparing a big project or getting ready to be in the public eye.
This is doubly possible because communication planet Mercury is retrograde in Scorpio for the first two weeks of the month and Mercury rules the mind. Be wary of negativity with this combination and try not to put yourself under too much stress.
The Sun/Mercury cazimi conjunction on the 4th could be helpful, the mid-waypoint of the Mercury retrograde phase. Listen out for insights or talk to someone. This could symbolise a talking cure, a conversation with a psychic or a therapy session.
Plus, there’s a New Moon in Scorpio on the 9th, a symbol of new beginnings. Being introspective can be good if it helps you understand yourself better or work things out in your head.

Mercury Turns Direct
Also this month, there are two significant turning points. Firstly, communication planet Mercury turns direct on the 13th and it’s an unusually intense Mercury retrograde phase in the most hidden sector of your horoscope. Mercury turned retrograde in Scorpio on October 24th.
When Mercury is back up to speed, news or information that’s hidden may come to light. It’s a good time to reopen the lines of communication, to journal and express your feelings. Have a conversation about loss or death and start to release or let go of whatever’s been troubling you.
Venus Turns Direct
In addition, the planet of love and money Venus turns direct on the 13th/14th. Venus has been retrograde for the last six weeks since October 3rd. And, like Mercury, Venus turned retrograde in Scorpio, sometimes a symbol of unrequited passion or a love affair.
However, Venus turns direct in Libra and your friendship and group sector. Therefore, it’s a positive time to get things moving in these areas. If you want to improve your social life, this is the ideal time to get more involved within society and group activities.
Notice whether any hidden themes emerge or secrets come to light. If you’ve been ostracised from a friend or cut off from a group, Venus turning direct could help you heal a rift or bring you closer to a third party.
Love and friendship are linked when Venus is in Libra. Therefore, reach out to other people and create strong connections in your life. This is especially important on the 4th & 28th, when Venus in Libra aligns with your ruling planet Jupiter.
This could symbolise that the right kind of friendships bring joy and happiness your way. Your social circle could widen further. Or you’re planning a holiday or trip away with friends.
Certainly, it’s an ideal time to cultivate friends and alliances in high places. If you’re keen to be part of the ‘in crowd’, whatever this means for you, this is your cosmic cue to leap in.
The Mars Factor
Also this month, you may have your eye on distant horizons. This is because action planet Mars is in fire sign Leo up until the 25th, bringing adventure and excitement your way.
You might want to see the world or save the world with this planet/sign combination. You may be planning a new adventure or be thinking about taking a sabbatical to study and learn something new. Note that your ruler Jupiter will remain in Leo until July 26, 2027.
Plus, Mars and Jupiter come together in a powerful conjunction in Leo on the 16th. This combination encourages you to be bold and courageous whether you’re planning a sabbatical or you’re getting more involved in world events. Leo rules foreign connections, religion, your beliefs and principles.
This could be a soul-searching month for you, when you may need something to believe in or you’re seeking a deeper sense of meaning and purpose in the world. Fire some arrows high into the sky and see where they land.
When planets are in Leo, it’s an ideal time to expand your horizons physically, intellectually, philosophically or spiritually. This is Sagittarius’ domain so make the most of it.
Venus and Mars come together on the 10th, another good date to team up with your mates and plan some adventures together. If you’re in a relationship or married, this would be an ideal time to think about your future life and be more engaged with other people around you.
Sagittarius Season
The Sun’s move into your star sign Sagittarius on the 22nd is a step in the right direction for you. The Sun represents vitality and energy and it can feel like a confidence boost when you have the Sun lighting up your star sign.
