Diving In Deep
Your traditional ruling planet Mars is in Gemini throughout July, the sign of communication. Gemini rules an intriguing part of your horoscope that’s closely linked to your star sign Scorpio. This is about the areas that are difficult to reach, inner communication, reading between the lines, looking below the surface of life.
Mars here can feel intense and full on. However, you’re not usually someone who shies away from the transformational side of life. Delve deep into your psyche this month and talk about what you’re experiencing. Mars in Gemini is the perfect talking cure.
Dare to go wherever other people fear to tread – make this your personal motto. If you work as a therapist or you have psychic abilities, your intuition and instincts will be particularly acute.
Also, Gemini is one of the financial sectors of your horoscope so it’s important to use your nous to boost your money know-how. You may be considering working in a financial environment or starting trading. However, whatever your financial schemes, ensure you’re playing the long game when it comes to money, savings and investments.
This is because Gemini’s ruling planet Mercury is retrograde until the 23rd. This isn’t the best time to make a major financial move as things could change over the first few weeks of July. Be strategic when it comes to money matters.
Also, Mars runs into wild-card Uranus on the 4th and these two planets together can turn things around and fast. It’s not the best date to take an impulsive risk unless you’re already a trader or financial whizz kid and know what you’re doing.
However, it’s worth referring to what’s happening in the Big Pattern – see below – as Uranus isn’t acting alone. It’s not straightforward how things are going to play out but consider where support lies and who you can rely on.
The Bigger Picture
The Sun remains in Cancer and your travel and study sector up until the 22nd. Cancer is a fellow water sign and you often feel in your element when planets are making a positive connection to your star sign Scorpio. This can be an ideal time to day-dream and ponder.
You could be seeking meaning or purpose in life when you’re looking for an opportunity to broaden your horizons. You may actively want something more from life than the everyday, to step out of your comfort zone and explore new experiences.
The other planet in Cancer is communication planet Mercury and Mercury’s retrograde until the 23rd. This can be a wonderful time to explore, go somewhere different, shift your perspective and look at life from a new angle. If you’re seeking answers, think laterally or talk to someone who can help you see things differently.
During this period, there’s a New Moon in Cancer on the 14th, a symbol of new beginnings. Plus, this is an extra special New Moon because there’s a Sun/Mercury cazimi conjunction in Cancer the day before, on the 13th. This is the midway point of the Mercury retrograde phase and often brings insight or understanding.
You might hear of an opportunity that’s perfect for you. Or you’re the recipient of a revelation or awakening. Say yes to new experiences close to the New Moon and cazimi dates.
Taking Centre Stage
On the 22nd, the Sun moves into Leo and your career and vocation sector where it joins expansive Jupiter. When planets are in Leo, you’re being called to step up your game, so crack on if you’re ready.
This could be your chance to shine and take centre stage so you can boost your status or reputation. It’s an ideal time to show off your skills and talents. If you get asked to do a talk or give a presentation, go for it.
Be confident in your abilities and, if necessary, fake it until you make it. It’s a good time to show off and let others know what you have to offer.
Plus, on the 29th, there’s a Sun-Jupiter conjunction in Leo. This is often considered one of the best dates of the year and it’s shining a light on your career and vocation, your future path. You may experience a change of status under these lucky stars.
This is amplified because there’s a Full Moon on the same date, the 29th, cutting across the Leo/Aquarius axis of the zodiac and the foundations of your horoscope. A Full Moon brings drama and emotion, also celebration and achievement. As July comes to an end, you’re being asked to play big and step up your game.
The Big Pattern
In July, the modern planets start to work together in their Big Pattern from the 15th to the 25th. This includes your co-ruler Pluto in Aquarius and your home and family sector, Uranus in Gemini and your joint finance sector and Neptune in Aries and your work and health sector.
Plus, the planetary pattern pulls in expansive Jupiter in Leo and your career and future sector on the 20th & 21st. This whole combination suggests that you could make a huge leap during this period in the year. Jupiter/Pluto themes are often around playing for high stakes.
