Gemini Season
The Sun is in Gemini and your joint finance sector until the 21st. Therefore, you’re wise to be proactive around money, negotiate well and aim to make swift progress. Be flexible and adaptable when it comes to money matters. Work on new ideas to earn money, invest money, pay off debt or update your financial transactions.
The New Moon falls in Gemini on the 15th, a symbol of new beginnings. What do you want to start, launch or begin on this New Moon? You might be writing a detective novel. Or be communing with the spirits. On a practical level, it’s a good New Moon to apply for a loan or mortgage. Ask for what you want and be enquiring.
Importantly for you, your traditional ruler Mars picks up the Gemini baton on the 30th where it remains until August 11. Mars adds drive and speed to the mix, courage and ambition. There may be more urgency to address money matters. Or perhaps, you have a specific financial goal in mind.
And, note that innovative wild-card Uranus is now in Gemini where it will remain for the next seven years. Therefore, you’re wise to keep on top of new developments and know that finances are an area of your life where change is likely.
Cancer Season
This month, there’s strong emphasis on your fellow water sign Cancer. You often tend to feel in your element when planets are in the same element as your star sign.
Firstly, talk planet Mercury enters Cancer on the 1st where it remains until August 9. Immediately, this tells you that Mercury’s heading for its next retrograde phase which begins on the 29th and lasts until July 23. Therefore, crack on with your plans before the end of the month.
Cancer rules travel and study in your horoscope, the bigger picture. It’s linked to publishing, the law, the media, religion and philosophy. This might be a time when you’re engaging actively with the outer world. Perhaps, you’re talking to people abroad or from a different culture. Or you’re keen to sign up to a course and develop your knowledge and learning.
When planets are in Cancer, you’re often yearning for something more. This longing may intensify when the Sun moves into Cancer on the 21st, the day of the Solstice.
The Solstice is a significant marker in astrology and highlights the mid-way point through the year. It’s a lovely date to honour the Sun by lighting candles or making fires. Or perhaps, you’re taking a pilgrimage to Stonehenge or witnessing the sunrise or sunset in a beautiful setting.
This is an ideal time to consider the year so far, what you’ve achieved and where you may need to reorient your compass moving forward.
Plus, there are two other planets in Cancer this month. Firstly, the planet of love and money Venus is in Cancer until the 13th. And, the biggest and best planet Jupiter is completing its journey through Cancer where it’s been since June 2025.
These two planets make a glorious conjunction on the 9th. They only come together once every year and this is encouraging you to spread your wings and broaden your horizons.
You could win a travel competition under these stars. Or someone you love invites you to visit them abroad or treats you to a surprise holiday. This is because Venus is your partner planet. Either way, this lovely combination suggests good fortune for yourself or the ones you love.
Finally this month, if you want to book a trip away or a study course, use the Full Moon on the 30th to make an intuitive decision. This Full Moon cuts across the Cancer/Capricorn axis of the zodiac which is about education and learning, knowledge and teaching in your horoscope
You could be taking an exam on or around this date or be lining up some new future plans or goals. Yet, don’t forget that Mercury will turn retrograde on the 29th.
Therefore, if you are travelling, double check timings, visas, paperwork, etc. Be flexible and adaptable and give yourself plenty of time to get from A to B.
Venus/Jupiter Leo
There’s another major reason why you’re wise to keep your gaze firmly focused on your future goals this month. This is because the emphasis is shifting towards fire sign Leo, the star sign at the peak of your horoscope.
Venus is the first planet to move into Leo on the 13th leading the way for Jupiter’s major shift into Leo on the 30th. Leo is your career and vocation sector and Jupiter will remain here until July 26, 2027.
