Aquarius Season – Solar Eclipse
The star sign of the moment is air sign Aquarius encouraging you to connect with other people and play your part within your community. Also this month, the Full Moon on the 1st cuts across the Leo/Aquarius axis of the zodiac. This is the education axis of your horoscope, so study or teaching could be foreground.

During the Full Moon, the Moon is in Leo ruling travel and study in your horoscope so tap into your dreams and broaden your horizons.
In addition, a new eclipse cycle is starting this month and will cut across the star signs Leo and Aquarius. This eclipse cycle continues until January 2028 and the majority of the eclipses are Solar Eclipses, i.e. turbo-powered New Moons.
The first eclipse takes place on the 17th of this month and falls in Aquarius. The theme is freedom and leaning into your Sagittarius archetype as traveller and explorer. It’s an ideal time to engage more actively with the world and improve your learning and knowledge. Perhaps, you’re starting a two year course. Or you’re considering a sabbatical or taking time out from work to go abroad.
A Solar Eclipse often coincides with accelerated growth and things happening fast. You may need to be flexible, however, because change could come about unexpectedly. There’s another reason for this as wild-card Uranus is square to the Sun and Moon during the eclipse.
Uranus is currently completing its journey through earth sign Taurus ruling your work and health. Uranus will leave Taurus on April 26 but this month is unusually active. Uranus turns direct here on the 4th and clashes with all the inner planets on the 5th, 8th, 16th & 27th.
It’s not usually wise to take a big leap of faith when Uranus clashes with other planets. And yet, you may not be able to stop yourself this month. At its most extreme, this could mean leaving the 9-to-5 and venturing into new territory. Perhaps, you’ve had enough of doing the sensible thing and you’re ready to seek pastures new.
Pisces Season – Mercury Retrograde
There’s another influence playing out throughout February, which suggests you’re deep in the realm of emotions and it could be a sentimental time for you. This is because of the planets moving through water sign Pisces at the base of your horoscope. Pisces rules your home and family, your past and where you come from.
Talk planet Mercury is here from the 6th and the planet of relating Venus enters Pisces on the 10th. Plus, the Sun moves into Pisces on the 18th. You might be on the hunt for news about your ancestry. Or you want to find out about your roots, your past or lineage. You may be aware of the footsteps in the sand, leading you from your beginnings to where you are now.
Be open-hearted during this period and know that this is a lovely time to heal any rifts as Pisces is the star sign linked to forgiveness. Family and past connections are strong when planets are in Pisces, so make the most of this gentle and beneficial influence.
The star sign Pisces represents surrender and letting go and the theme of release is strong. You may have a powerful sense that love is all around you. Find support from your loved ones and be there for them in return.
There is another factor to note, however, as communication planet Mercury turns retrograde in Pisces on the 26th. Mercury will remain on go slow until March 20.
Therefore, you may need to readdress a situation or issue regarding your home or family. Sometimes, Mercury retrograde slows things down and you don’t get the answers you need. Try not to rush when it comes to a property matter or family issue. Instead, take your time and explore your options. If someone goes quiet on you, be patient.
Yet, Mercury retrograde is a positive time to go on retreat or take a staycation. Use this phase to slow things down, deepen your intuition and listen to your inner voice.
Saturn Enters Aries
The planet of responsibility and commitment Saturn enters your fellow fire sign Aries on February 14 where it will remain until April 2028. Aries rules romance in your horoscope and all the good things in life.
On the one hand, you may find it easier to commit to a hobby or leisure activity. You might be ready to start a family, spend more time with your kids or turn a romance into a steady relationship. Wherever you find Saturn, you can be more focused as your levels of self-discipline are heightened.
Yet, Saturn can represent an obstacle in your life and is one of the planets linked to endings. Therefore, it could be make-or-break time for an affair. Or perhaps, you have to make a tough decision regarding a child.
Saturn/Neptune Conjunction
The Saturn/Neptune conjunction falls in Aries and your creativity sector on February 20. This highlights the things in your life you ‘give birth to’ and this may be a recognition of what sources you on a deep or spiritual level.
