Aquarius Season – Solar Eclipse

Aquarius is the star sign of the moment and this is where you find the Sun up until the 18th. Talk planet Mercury is in Aquarius until the 6th, the planet of relating Venus is here until the 10th and action planet Mars is in Aquarius all month. 

Aquarius rules your friends and groups, your place within society, your role within politics and your social responsibilities. In addition, Aquarius is linked to technology and all things modern. Embrace the future and be around people who inspire you and can help you moving forward.

You may be celebrating with friends during the weekend of the Full Moon on the 1st. Or perhaps, you decide to set up an online group or social media page and reach out and make new connections.

The Full Moon on the 1st cuts across the star signs Leo and Aquarius and this is where a new eclipse cycle is beginning this month. This eclipse cycle will continue until January 2028.

The Leo/Aquarius axis is a social axis for you linked to fun, creativity, children, friends and good times while eclipses have a theme of change and accelerated growth.

The first eclipse is a Solar Eclipse in Aquarius which takes place on the 17th. A Solar Eclipse is a turbo-powered New Moon which means things can happen fast.

A new friendship or group activity may start quickly on or around the eclipse date so notice who’s around you. In Chinese astrology, this is the start of a new year, the Year of the Horse, a bold and dynamic influence.

It is a lively eclipse, however, as the Sun and Moon are square to unpredictable Uranus, the planet of change and unpredictability. Aquarius is the star sign of the collective and you may join in a social cause or choose to stand up for other people. You could take on an activist or rebel role.

The one area of to be wary of this month is money as wild-card Uranus is in Taurus and your personal money sector and active on the 4th, 5th, 8th, 16th & 27th.

Check that a social event or group activity isn’t going to cost you the earth and rein in your impulsive nature on or around these dates. Keep close checks on money matters and don’t take unnecessary financial risks.

Pisces Season – Mercury Retrograde

Talk planet Mercury enters water sign Pisces on the 6th followed by the planet of relating Venus on the 10th and the Sun on the 18th. This is encouraging you to go with the flow, do what feels right and trust your intuition. Pisces is the star sign before yours and this can be a period of contemplation. Perhaps, you’re completing a chapter or old project before you begin anything new.

Pisces rules your inner world and the second half of the month would be ideal for going on retreat or tapping into your subconscious. This is potentially a fertile time for dreams and imagination and seeking a creative or spiritual source. Use this deep emotional energy to dive into ideas, dreams and visions. Use poetry, music, art or nature to inspire you. Find time to unplug, rest and restore your energy.

You may be caring for someone close or prioritising self-care and both are valuable. Either way, this is about nurturing self and others, easing your way forward and going with the flow. When the Pisces influence kicks in, take the pace slow.

In addition, the planet of communication Mercury turns retrograde in Pisces on the 26th taking you deeper inward. Mercury will remain on go slow until March 20. Allow yourself time to switch off, unplug and step back from the news. You could be more sensitive or vulnerable during this phase.

Not everything will work out but that’s the way with Mercury retrograde. Think about what you’re letting go of, perhaps an addiction or bad habit. Alternatively, you could be immersed in a creative project or be doing research. Try to balance busy time with relaxation.

Saturn Enters Aries

On February 14, Saturn moves into your star sign Aries where it remain until April 2028. A good question to ask is what are you ready to commit to? Alternatively, what do you want to bring an end? 

Saturn is the planet of responsibility, also hard work and effort. This could help you flex your levels of self-discipline, when you’re ready to commit whole-heartedly to a project or goal. Or you might be willing to step into a position of leadership.

Yet, be wary of taking on too much or working overly hard. Keep close tabs on your stress levels, your attitude and prioritise your health and well-being. Don’t allow the gloomy side of Saturn to take hold.

Saturn/Neptune Conjunction

The Saturn/Neptune conjunction falls in your star sign Aries on February 20. Aries rules your personal goals and aims, your image and profile.
