Virgo Horoscope January 2026
Pleasure Zone
As January begins, your ruling planet Mercury moves into Capricorn on the 1st where it will remain until the 20th. Capricorn is a fellow earth sign and linked to a feel-good sector of your horoscope. This includes romance, children and pregnancy, entertainment, creative projects, pleasure and fun.
Plus, Mercury isn’t the only planet in Capricorn. The Sun’s here until the 20th, action planet Mars is here until the 23rd and the planet of love and money Venus is in Capricorn until the 17th.
Therefore, the start of this year has the potential to be romantic and passionate. This is because the lovers of the heavens, Venus and Mars, are moving through Capricorn together. They get together with the Sun in a triple conjunction in Capricorn from the 6th to the 9th. This could bring something special your way and it’s an ideal time to dive deep into love if you get the opportunity to do so.
Capricorn doesn’t just rule romance in your horoscope. It also rules children and the things in life that you give birth to. This is the creative sector of your horoscope linked to your skills and talents, your hobbies and passions. Team up with other people to pursue an activity or project you love and focus on strong alliances and building relationships in all areas of your life that are lasting.
Also this month, both the Full Moon on the 3rd and the New Moon on the 18th highlight this same sector of your horoscope. During the Full Moon, the Sun is in Capricorn while the Moon is in Cancer and your friendship sector.
This is an ideal Full Moon for a party or social get-together. Be around people who are not only fun but who play a protective role in your life too. The wider your tribe, the more opportunity will find you.
The New Moon on the 18th is especially dynamic as it pulls in your ruling planet Mercury and passion planet Mars. This is encouraging you to walk your talk and do what you say. Line up some fun times, get together with your kids and lean into any area of your life where you find pleasure and joy.
Aquarius Themes
As the inner planets are close together this month, they move into the star sign Aquarius which rules your work and health around the same time. The planet of relating Venus is first on the 17th followed by your ruler Mercury and the Sun on the 20th and action planet Mars on the 23rd.
This is where the action’s at from this point onwards and it’s an ideal time for new resolutions or intentions in both these areas – work and health.
Aquarius is about the things you do on a daily basis and being practical and getting organised. It’s the star sign linked to technology and all things modern so you could be creating new systems to help yourself or other people.
If you’re a typical Sun Virgo, you like to take good care of your body and prioritise your health, fitness and well-being. You could even decide to work in these areas moving forward.
However, there is another powerful influence in Aquarius in the shape of Pluto, the planet of loss and transformation. As soon as the inner planets move into Aquarius, they all team up with Pluto. Venus is first on the 20th followed by your ruler Mercury on the 22nd, the Sun on the 23rd and Mars on the 27th.
This could symbolise the end of a job or everyday role in your life. Perhaps, you’re getting ready to close on the door on your past and move on. Or you have to make some tough decisions this month which may be linked to your health and well-being.
It’s important not to put yourself in a situation that’s overly stressful and be wary of dealing with a person who rules by power or control. Ideally, you want to be empowered yourself and take back control when Pluto’s active. Don’t overdo things when Pluto’s dominant but do heed any warnings and be resolute in your decisions.
Saturn-Uranus
There’s another strong planetary influence this month as one of the major planetary aspects of 2025 comes to completion on the 20th. This involves the planet of authority and responsibility Saturn in Pisces and your relationship sector working with the planet of change and innovation Uranus in Taurus and your travel and study sector.
These two planets came together twice last year on April 4 & August 12, 2025. Therefore, events now may be linked to what was happening back then.
Perhaps, a relationship has come to an end and you’re planning a new adventure. Or you’re thinking about taking a sabbatical to study and learn something new. This could be a soul-searching time when you need something to believe in.
It would be a good time to get away especially if your everyday life is challenging. Changing your routine around could help you see things differently and shift your perspective.
Or perhaps, it’s another person’s intervention that leads you in a new direction. This might be a teacher or guru or someone in your life whose advice and wisdom you rate highly.
Neptune Enters Aries
On the 26th, the planet of dreams and romance Neptune leaves Pisces and your relationship sector. This is where Neptune’s been since 2011 except for the period from March 30 to October 22, 2025 when Neptune dipped its toe into fire sign Aries.
This month, Neptune’s back in Aries where it will remain until 2038/2039. Aries is your joint finance sector and this is turning your attention towards money matters. Perhaps, a sea-change in a personal or professional partnership means you’re having to rethink money matters. Or you have some big dreams for your money and how it could help others or build towards a dream of your own.
Neptune’s a compassionate and inclusive influence while Aries is the star sign of the individual. Ensure your financial needs are being met and be wary of scams or seduction. Neptune’s influence can play out in different ways and it’s wise not to wear rose-coloured glasses when it comes to money and finances.
