Money Matters
As November begins, the planet of communication Mercury is in Sagittarius and your joint finance sector. Talk planet Mercury is joined by action planet Mars in Sagittarius on the 4th and Mars will remain here until mid-December.
This generates a lot of excitement, discussion and ideas around money. Yet, avoid the 4th for making an impulsive decision around money and be aware that an argument or falling-out could trigger change.
Finances are likely to be a major theme moving forward and the Sun’s move into Sagittarius on the 22nd promises hope and faith. Sagittarius is the optimist of the zodiac and this is a time to consider new ways of earning money, investing or making the most of the money you have. Our changing world may require a new way of looking at things, a fresh perspective.
Mercury Retrograde
However, communication planet Mercury turns retrograde in Sagittarius on the 9th. Therefore, you’re wise to sort out your finances before then. While Mercury’s retrograde from the 9th to the 29th, it’s not the best time to make a major investment and you may have to rethink your next steps.
Plus, you have power planet Pluto in Aquarius and your career and vocation sector. Pluto clashes with your ruling planet Venus on the 8th and this could be linked to what’s happening financially. Perhaps, more status and power equals a bigger income. Or the opposite and you decide to move on from a business or partnership.
Certainly, it’s likely that relationships are hotting up this month. Your ruling planet Venus will be in Scorpio and your relationship sector from the 6th onwards. Although, note that communication planet Mercury moves back into Scorpio during its retrograde phase on the 19th.
You and someone close might be talking incessantly this month, trying to sort out problems. Orit’s the opposite and the one you love has gone awol or you’re involved in an illicit affair.
Either way, this is rarely a time when a relationship is on track and it’s not great for making major decisions. Wait until Mercury turns direct on the 29th before making up your mind about a close relationship or professional partnership. Until then, keep your cards close to your chest.
Stealth is required throughout November. Be aware of any secret enemies in your life, the people behind the scenes who don’t have your best interests at heart and keep them at arm’s length.
Relationship Dramas
Relationships are under the cosmic spotlight during the Full Moon in Taurus on the 5th and the New Moon in Scorpio on the 20th, which both highlight the Taurus/Scorpio axis of the zodiac and the most personal axis of your horoscope.
Scorpio rules your personal and professional relationships, your significant one-to-ones. This is a time when you may be diving deep into a new relationship or business partnership. All relationships require careful negotiation and attention to detail as Scorpio is the sign of focus and transformation, even when Mercury’s not retrograde.
Other people could play a significant role in your life this month or someone new comes into your life and turns things upside-down. Alternatively, you may recognise where you’re not in agreement with other people and where you want or need to break free.
Something may have to break down in your life before you can break through. Consider who or what you may be up against and look out for an unexpected event that comes from left field. The key dates are the 19th, 21st & 30th. This is when Uranus is active, the planet of splits and excitement. Perhaps, you discover who’s on your side and who’s not.
It may be the right time to take a stand against someone who’s behaving badly. You could be incensed about corruption or wrong-doings or perhaps you feel you have no choice. Don’t take any unnecessary risks, however, and do be aware that standing up for yourself could have consequences. It’s potentially tricky astrology to navigate well.
Uranus Re-enters Taurus
The planet of change Uranus has been in your star sign Taurus for the best part of the last 7 years. It’s not an easy match for Uranus in the fixed earth sign Taurus. You may have been resistant to change but recognised that you couldn’t not change.
This is effectively the ‘7 year itch’ as Uranus is preparing to leave Taurus for the next 84 years. Uranus dipped out of your star sign on July 7th but, on the 8th, Uranus returns to Taurus for one last visit. It will finally leave your star sign on April 26, 2026.
Therefore, notice where you’re feeling restless or where you want to implement change in your life. What happens this month could feel like a major personal shift or an awakening.
As Uranus has been in Gemini and your personal money sector since July 7th, you may have started to awaken to new possibilities around money and security. Perhaps, you realise that you’ve allowed yourself to be held back or restricted or life’s got in the way.
Uranus is the planet linked to freedom and independent moves. Whatever’s happening, it may have brought a shift to your values or a major change around how you see yourself as a person. Uranus in your star sign can change your identity.
Grand Water Trines
Amidst the chaotic astrology playing out this month, there’s a beautiful flow of energy between planets in water signs. Expansive Jupiter is in Cancer and turns retrograde here on the 11th while the planet of boundaries Saturn is in Pisces and turns direct here on the 28th. This means that both planets are closely connected at 25° Cancer/Pisces throughout November.
The inner planets align with Jupiter and Saturn on the 17th, 22nd & 26th creating a Grand Water Trine in the star signs Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces. This lights up the people sectors of your horoscope and it’s here where support can be found.
Water signs are emotional, compassionate and empathic. Therefore, reach out to your old friends and be open to making new friends. You could find a huge amount of emotional fulfilment from working alongside other people in a caring or helping role. Or perhaps, your friends need you this month and you want to do what’s best for them.
