Love & Good Vibes

As October begins, one of the loveliest planets Venus remains in Virgo. Venus will grace your star sign until the 13th and this is often a period when love is foreground or you’re more popular and social.

The stand-out date is the 8th when Venus aligns with the biggest and best planet Jupiter. This combination links love and friendship so be around people you adore and who adore you.

And, if you’re wise, you’ll avoid the 11th for a date or relationship connection. Take a step back, as love could prove disappointing.

Also this month, key planets are in Libra, the star sign ruled by Venus. Importantly for you, your ruling planet Mercury’s here up until the 6th and the Sun is in Libra until the 23rd. Plus, Venus moves into Libra on the 13th, one of her two star signs of rulership.

When planets are in Libra, this is an ideal time to bring more balance and harmony into your life. It’s a month when you may choose to slow down the pace. Use your instincts wisely this month and balance action with stillness.

Full Moon/New Moon

Libra is your personal money sector and, this month, both the Full Moon and the New Moon are highlighting the money sectors of your horoscope. Libra rules finances, your assets and possessions, your values and sense of self-worth.

The Full Moon takes place on the 7th cutting across the Aries/Libra axis of the zodiac. Emotions are heightened during the Full Moon phase and this can be a time of completion or culmination.

Trust your intuition during the Full Moon around money and finances. It may be the right time to take a big leap and invest or spend your money on something you love. Think of this as a balancing act and creating a better sense of equilibrium around money and values.

Venus represents love and is one of the money planets. And, Venus is caught up in a Grand Air Trine on the 14th linking the work and money sectors of your horoscope. This could coincide with a gift or bonus. Or perhaps, you’re the one treating the ones you love.

Finally, the New Moon on the 21st falls in Libra, a symbol of new beginnings. This would be an ideal date to launch a money-making venture or to start a savings account.

Once you know where your values lie when it comes to money, then you can make the right moves. Notice how your relationships impact your financial well-being, as the two are intrinsically linked.

Scorpio Power

Scorpio season begins on the 23rd when the Sun moves into Scorpio. However, this month, there’s plenty of intensity and focused activity in the star sign representing power throughout October.

Most importantly for you, your ruling planet Mercury is in Scorpio from the 6th to the 29th. Plus, action planet Mars is in Scorpio and your communication sector all month. Therefore, this is a positive time to open the lines of communication, get on the phone and use your networks to the max.

Mars adds fire to your belly and a desire to take action and fast. This is a confident Mars for networking, marketing and speaking up for yourself. ​​​​​​​If you’re feeling strident, let other people hear your voice.

The key date to step into your power is the 20th when there’s a Mercury-Mars conjunction in Scorpio, an ideal date to walk your talk and do what you say.

It might be wise to ensure you have people of power on your side. Use the intensity of planets in Scorpio to align yourself with people of influence in your industry. Or in any area of life that could benefit you. 

Scorpio rules your community, also your neighbours and siblings and people power is where it’s at, especially in the last week of October. This is when there are two emotional Grand Water Trines linking the people sectors of your horoscope – Mercury & Mars in Scorpio, Jupiter in Cancer and your friendship and group sector and Saturn in Pisces and your relationship and partnership sector.

Put all this together and you’re bigger and better with other people by your side. Alternatively, you may be aware of the impact you make on others, thanks to your voice or sharing your knowledge or wisdom.

However, it’s worth noting that your ruling planet Mercury is slowing down towards the end of October. This is because Mercury will turn retrograde on November 9th. Therefore, some of your plans, projects or negotiations may get delayed or take longer to achieve than you expect. Bear this in mind.

Neptune Returns To Pisces

Last month, get real planet Saturn returned to your opposite star sign Pisces and your relationship sector on September 1st. This month, it’s the turn of fantasy planet Neptune which returns to Pisces on the 22nd.

Both planets are completing their journeys through Pisces over the next three months. Saturn since March 2023 and Neptune since 2011.

Therefore, consider what this might mean for you. Is a relationship or partnership nearing completion or coming to an end? It could play out in other ways too. For example, the romantic honeymoon period of a relationship is coming to an end. Or your disillusionment around love is coming to an end.

What’s important is that you consider what this means to you. Pisces is emotional, also intuitive and instinctual. Saturn and Neptune working together are encouraging you to take off the rose-coloured glasses and turn your dreams into reality.

Pluto Turns Direct

The slowest-moving planet Pluto turns direct in Aquarius, the star sign linked to technology, equality and the collective on the 14th. Aquarius is your work and health sector so consider why or how you may need to transform your lifestyle or your routine.

If you’re a typical Virgo, you like to have a regular schedule and daily habits and rituals which support your well-being. Pluto is the planet of power as well as transformation. Try not to be too extreme, however, especially when it comes to your health or diet, as Pluto can be an all-or-nothing planetary energy. 

Either way, this could be your cue to get back on track with bringing about radical change and transformation to your everyday lifestyle, your well-being and your health.
