When Mercury and Jupiter come together, this can be a symbol of good news. Perhaps, you hear about a loan or mortgage or there’s reason to celebrate when it comes to money or partnership.
It would be a great date to line up an important meeting or interview to boost your finances. Or perhaps, you decide to ask for a promotion or invest in your future. Mercury and Jupiter are both linked to education and gaining qualifications.
Therefore, you’re wise to be proactive around money, to negotiate well and aim to make swift progress. Be flexible and adaptable. Continue to work on new ideas to earn money, invest money, pay off debt or update your financial transactions.
Another important date for money matters is the 11th when there’s a Full Moon cutting across the Gemini/Sagittarius axis of the zodiac. This is the financial axis of your horoscope and a pivotal date.

This month’s major planetary shift involves the planet of opportunity Jupiter which enters your fellow water sign Cancer on the 9th. Jupiter will remain in Cancer and your travel and study sector until June 2026.

Solstice, New Moon Beginnings
Talk planet Mercury is in Cancer from the 8th to the 26th, great for checking things out and gathering information. You might be talking to people abroad or be keen to sign up to a course.
When planets are in Cancer, you’re often yearning for something more. This longing may intensify when the Sun moves into Cancer on the 21st, the day of the Solstice. Plus, as soon as the Sun enters Cancer, it aligns with big planet Jupiter on the 24th. This is often considered one of the luckiest days of the year.
Jupiter’s a reminder that luck’s an attitude. When you have a big vision, a willingness to take a leap of faith and you believe in yourself and what you’re doing, then miracles can happen. Use the Sun/Jupiter magic to conjure up something special in your own life and take note of any new opportunity which comes your way.
Also, there’s a New Moon in Cancer on the 25th which may provide you with a chance to set off on an adventure or explore new experiences. Embrace diversity and ring the changes. Step out of your comfort zone and say yes to a new direction in life. A New Moon is a symbol of new beginnings and an excellent date to set your intentions or launch a project.
Cosmic Challenges
Your traditional planet Mars completes its journey through Leo and your career and vocation sector on the 17th. Mars has been in Leo on and off since November 2024, an unusually long time. It’s not been an easy transit for Mars as it clashed with your modern planet Pluto not once but three times.
Perhaps, you’ve felt held back or trapped. You may have been involved in power games or conflict linked to your work or your home and family. Wherever you’ve not been able to get ahead, especially around home and family, career and vocation, shake things off mid-month and let go.
As Mars prepares to leave Leo, it clashes with wild-card Uranus in Taurus and your relationship sector on the 15th. Perhaps, you lose someone’s support or a third party gets in the way. Alternatively, you may be keen to course correct so you can let go and move on from a relationship or partnership that’s not working out.
Around the same time, Jupiter in Cancer clashes with Saturn and Neptune in Aries and your work and health sector on the 15th & 19th respectively. Perhaps, you can’t get the time off work to travel or book a holiday when you want. This could be crunch time for you and you choose to hand in your notice rather than have your freedom curtailed.
Be wary of pushing back the boundaries of life too far and losing yourself in a way that’s unhealthy or unhelpful mid-month. You might become aware of your addictions. Or you make a radical choice to go teetotal and cut toxicity out of your diet.
Don’t let fear or guilt kick in either and learn to love yourself and be kind and caring to yourself. Put new and healthy habits and daily practises in place, which keep you anchored and attached to life in a good way.
