Jupiter is turning direct in the heavens as I bash out this blog post. The exact time it turns is 10:42 GMT on March 6th 2014. Jupiter is the biggest planet in the heavens and in astrology is known as the ‘Greater Benefic’. In other words, this is where the goodies lie as Jupiter represents opportunity, good fortune, luck and expansion.
Jupiter entered the sign of Cancer on June 26th 2013 and as Jupiter has a 12 year cycle, spending approximately one year in each sign of the zodiac, Jupiter remains in this star sign until July 16th 2014. What’s special about Jupiter right now is that it’s on it’s final sprint through Cancer and this is your chance to make the most of this and push things through between now and mid-July.
Jupiter has been retrograde or on go slow since November 7th 2013 so maybe your plans have been on hold or you’ve been rethinking your situation. The gates are now thrown wide open. Here are the areas in your life where you can harness Jupiter’s influence. Read both your Sun Sign and your Ascendant sign:

Thank you. Could you tell us where Jupiter is, besides just “in Cancer”? I’d love to know the degrees. Thank you.
Sorry Lucy, I usually put the degree in but forgot this time. Jupiter turned direct at 10 Cancer 27 on March 6th 2014.
My birthday was the 6th of March! Does this make Jupiter’s change of direction any more significant for me? Thanks for posting this 🙂
Yes absolutely. It does depend on where Jupiter is in your chart and what it rules but for me it feels lucky. Jupiter brings gifts. best, Sally
I hope so! Thanks again 🙂
