Eclipse Power
A new eclipse cycle begins this month cutting across the Gemini/Sagittarius axis of the zodiac. This is important for you because these two star signs fall at the peak and base of your horoscope.
Gemini rules your career and vocation, your status and reputation, your future and where you’re heading. Sagittarius represents your home and family, your past and where you come from.
The Lunar or Full Moon Eclipse on the 5th highlights these key areas of your life. It’s shining a light on your current situation, exposing where change is required. Sometimes, during eclipses, the unexpected happens acting as the trigger for change.
You may feel as if you’re being pulled in different directions during the Lunar Eclipse. You might find it hard to juggle home and work. Or, feel unsure where your priorities lie or what to do next.
Notice where you’re being called forth and what home means to you. If you’re not happy with where you live, this will be noticeable during the Full Moon phase. This is the start of a new eclipse cycle shaping the foundations of your life which continues until December 2021.
The Mars Factor
Mars is pulled into the eclipse picture and is a key player this month. Up until the 28th, Mars is active in Pisces and your relationship sector. This is both passionate and argumentative.
Mars represents fire and heat and your relationships could feel full on. The 3rd and 6th are potentially volatile dates for your 1-to-1’s emphasised by the light of the emotional Full Moon.
Yet, for some of you, this is potentially a romantic month, especially when Mars and Neptune come together on the 13th. Love can be a welcome escape, the place you go to in order to seek solace or bliss.
Mars in Pisces can, however, be manipulative and slippery. So, be wary who you trust and keep your earthy common sense intact.
Venus Retrograde
Venus, the love planet, remains retrograde while Mars is in Pisces. This is a good period to indulge in love but not to make any major decisions about love or issue an ultimatum. Keep your options open and don’t allow yourself to be rushed into making a decision.
Venus retrograde can be incredibly creative and artistic. You may be using art or beauty as a muse within your current work, career or vocation.
Or, perhaps you have a team of people who you enjoy being with, whether on- or off-line. This is the ideal, that you find like-minded souls, especially women, to walk alongside you on your future path.
Mercury Retrograde
Your ruling planet is Mercury, the communicator and quick thinker. Mercury is in Cancer throughout June, one of the water signs. Cancer rules your friends and group activities and it’s here where you can find support and companionship.
Ensure you have caring connections in your life, listen and counsel others and ask for the same in return. Mercury is slowing down throughout June, so this is not a month to rush ahead.
On the 18th, Mercury turns retrograde and remains on go slow until July 12th. This can be a time of misunderstandings or untruths. Don’t believe everything you hear and don’t make assumptions based on what you read.
This is a good time to reconnect with friends from your past and you may feel unusually nostalgic or sentimental. This might include getting back in touch with someone you were at school with or someone you met abroad.
Mercury only makes one key major planetary aspect this month to Uranus in Taurus and your travel and study sector. They connect on the 5th, the 30th and, next month, on July 22nd.
These dates are great for being spontaneous, reaching out or booking a course or trip. Synchronicity could also play its part so listen carefully for signs or messages from the universe.
Solar Eclipse
The Sun also moves into Cancer and, on the day of the Solstice, the 21st, there’s a Solar Eclipse. This is a powerful New Moon which falls at 0 degrees Cancer. This is your friendship and group sector, your hopes and wishes.
Something may be put in place or seeded during this eclipse that sets you on a new path with regard to your place in society or politics, your friendships or group activities.
Sometimes, a Solar Eclipse brings an ending before a new beginning. It’s potentially a pivotal turning point for a friendship or alliance. Yet, wait until your ruler Mercury turns direct mid-July before making important decisions.
