It’s straight to business as soon as June begins. Your ruling planet Mercury is strong in Gemini and your career and vocation sector until the 12th and the Sun is here too until the 21st.
Make the most of this swift-moving planetary action at the peak of your horoscope and crack on with your plans to get ahead, find a job, get promoted or make an impression. Gemini is the sign of communication so use your strategic ability to get yourself noticed, to speak up or nail a top presentation.
When Mercury’s moving forward, it whizzes through the zodiac so you only have a two week window to make the most of Mercury’s potential in your career sector. Dates to note are the 1st when Mercury and Mars align, an excellent time to walk (Mars) your talk (Mercury).
Also, the 6th is notable when the Sun and Mercury unite in Gemini, ideal for a meeting, confab or brainstorming ideas. Plus, the New Moon on the 13th lights up Gemini and your career sector. A New Moon is a symbol of new beginnings, ideal for getting ahead, launching a project and taking the initiative. Move quickly, as time is not on your side.
This is also the message that comes across loud and clear from action planet Mars currently in Aquarius and the sector of your horoscope which rules your work and routine, your health and lifestyle. This too suggests that June is potentially busy for you and at times full on.
Mars also likes speed and fast action so bear this in mind moving forward. This is not a month to procrastinate with your work goals and ideas. Instead, focus on your future and where you’re heading and making things happen.
Once you know that Mars is going to turn retrograde on the 26th, this is another reason why it’s best to get ahead sooner rather than later. Mars remains on go slow for two months until August 27th. This is invariably a time when you have to slow down the pace or things don’t work out the way you expect them to.
You might find your plans are stalled or perhaps you’re extra busy completing a project that takes over. Either way, it’s a different planetary energy that is no longer forward-moving. Instead, it feel more internal, a chance to review and reflect on your situation or go back over old ground.
The one question mark for you this month with regard to your work and career is Neptune’s influence. Neptune is currently in Pisces, your opposite star sign and Neptune clashes with Mercury and the Sun in Gemini on the 6th and 7th and turns retrograde itself on the 18th.
This means that not everyone you deal with will be straight-talking or even truthful. Be careful if you’re working alongside other people who are creative but not necessarily practical. At its worst, you might end up coming into contact with someone who’s deceitful and wants to confuse what’s happening. Use your astute brain to work out who you can trust and who to avoid. This too will help you moving forward.
Neptune does have another purpose this month, however, and this is where Neptune’s romantic influence kicks in. On the 1st and 2nd, Neptune is caught up in a Grand Water Trine with love planet Venus in Cancer and expansive Jupiter in Scorpio.
This has the potential to be gorgeously romantic for you whether you fall in love with a friend, you receive a proposal or you’re simply in love with life or loving the one person who makes everything feel better.
Your ruler Mercury also gets involved in a Grand Water Trine on the 19th and 21st. The water element is linked to the emotions so this is a month when you’re feeling deeply. When it comes to love and close connections, it’s worth losing yourself.
These are potentially spiritual planetary combinations for you too. At times this month, it’s worth taking yourself away from the everyday and experiencing bliss or transcendence in some shape or form.
Mercury, your ruler, remains in Cancer from the 12th to the 29th and the Sun joins Mercury here on the 21st, the day of the Solstice. So friendship too plays an important role in your life in the month ahead. Caring for friends and asking for the care you need is part and parcel of the planetary picture.
There are some challenging oppositions, however, from Saturn and Pluto, the power duo in Capricorn and a fellow earth sign. These kick in on the 16th, 23rd and 27th and culminate at the Full Moon on the 28th.
This can play out in different ways but it might mean a creative block, noticing where your limitations are around friendship or group activities, or feeling held back or left out in some way. Saturn can be a party pooper and it dominates the Full Moon in Capricorn on the 28th.
Proceed carefully with this and don’t let Saturn blight your mood if you can help it. A change of scene will do you the world of good too, especially on or around the 13th or 23rd.
Finally, love planet Venus moves into Leo and the most hidden sector of your horoscope on the 13th. This often flags up a love affair, illicit love or unrequited feelings. For some reason, you want to keep your feelings private, to yourself. Either that or you’re spending a lot of time behind closed doors making love with someone special.
