Jupiter On The Move
There’s big news this month as big planet Jupiter is on the move. Jupiter leaves behind your opposite star sign Pisces and moves into fire sign Aries on the 11th. Jupiter does return to Pisces for the last two months of 2022 but then returns to Aries until May 2023.
Jupiter takes approximately one year to move through each sign of the zodiac and Jupiter has been in Pisces on and off since May 2021. This puts the spotlight on your relationships and your one-to-one’s, both personal and professional.
Jupiter’s the planet of luck and opportunity and is associated with plenty. It’s the planet linked to freedom. When you have Jupiter in your relationship sector, there may be an opportunity to remove yourself from a difficult relationship, actively choose to be single or fall head-over-heels in love. Jupiter in Pisces may have coincided with a marriage or second honeymoon.
It’s not all been smooth sailing, however, and at times you may have felt overwhelmed emotionally. You might have decided to move and follow someone you love, perhaps to the other side of the world. Or, the opposite and you’ve left an established relationship.
Passion planet Mars remains in Pisces until the 24th and until then, you may still be in the flow of an emotional wave. Or, at least be experiencing the reverberations. The 3rd may be definitive when Jupiter aligns with Pluto in Capricorn. This links love and children, relationships and commitment in your life.
The 18th is also key when Mars teams up with Neptune, the planet of fantasy, dreams and the imagination. Themes of surrender or losing yourself could be foreground once again.
The houses of the horoscope follow on from each other so even though Jupiter leaves Pisces and enters Aries this month, the focus remains on other people. In particular, joint finances and shared resources.
For example, this could be the settling-down period, when you create a joint bank account and learn to live alongside your partner day to day. Aries represents the sector of your horoscope that’s linked to sex and intimacy. It may be a time when you’re thinking about these key issues and what you want when it comes to love.
This doesn’t only apply to a personal relationship. For example, you may be ready to start a business partnership or work alongside another person in a specific role in your life, e.g. lawyer, an agent, a personal trainer, a therapist, a coach.
When Jupiter is in Aries, it’s the perfect time to get expert advice, especially when it comes to finances or legal matters. Jupiter’s a global planet so there are no restrictions and you can expand your circle of expertise.

Mercury Retrograde
It is, however, important to note that your ruling planet Mercury turns retrograde on the 10th, the day before Jupiter enters Aries on the 11th. Mercury remains on go slow until June 3rd. Therefore, it’s important to view this period as the planning stage and not try to rush ahead.
Even if new opportunities arise, it’s not the best time to make a major decision while Mercury’s on go slow. This is because information is sometimes withheld or the truth isn’t forthcoming. Ideally, wait until the end of May or beginning of June before accepting an offer or finalising a job or career opportunity.
This is because Mercury turns retrograde in Gemini and your career and vocation sector. You may have to wait until the New Moon in Gemini on the 30th before you can move things forward.
Mercury retrograde is good for retracing your steps or going over old ground. It flags up a theme of reconnecting or reworking your contacts or networks. You might get back in touch with an old boss or try again with an opportunity that didn’t come off first time around.
Lunar Eclipse
Travel and study are going to remain important to you now and over the next eighteen months. These areas are ripe for change because of the current eclipse cycle highlighting the Taurus/Scorpio axis of the zodiac. This eclipse cycle began in November 2021 and completes in October 2023.
On April 30th, there was a Solar or New Moon Eclipse in Taurus and this month there’s a Lunar or Full Moon Eclipse in Scorpio which falls on the 16th. You could receive important news about a course or trip on or around this date.
Yet, eclipse symbolism often hints that something needs to end or be given up before you can embrace a new chapter. Sometimes, eclipses coincide with an event being postponed or cancelled.
Either way, know that this is a shadowy time in the month. The best advice this month is to go with the flow and dance through life, even if it means taking a step back before you can move forwards. And, note that the turning points could come thick and fast right at the end of May and beginning of June.
