Mercury turns direct

Your ruling planet is Mercury, the planet of communication and the mind. Therefore, it’s a big deal when your planet turns direct after three weeks retrograde. This is what happens on the 4th. It’s an ideal date to make a key decision in your life. This might be linked to love or your role as a parent. In fact, February could out to be a significant month for you regarding your close relationships. This is because there’s strong emphasis on the star signs Capricorn & Pisces, your romance and relationship sectors.

Mercury may bring a turning point on the 4th but the whole of the month has the potential to be both romantic and passionate. This is because the lovers of the heavens, Venus and Mars, are moving through Capricorn together. They unite on the 16th, the day of an emotional Full Moon. A routine lifestyle

Even though there’s a lot of emphasis on people sectors of your horoscope this month, it’s a good idea to pay attention to the basics of life. This is because the Sun is in Aquarius until the 18th and your planet Mercury returns to Aquarius on the 14th.

Aquarius rules the sector of your horoscope linked to work and routine, lifestyle and health. This is a very Virgo-oriented sector of the horoscope and you tend to be at your best when you have a healthy routine and daily habits that serve you well.

The New Moon on the 1st is an ideal date to make a new resolution – February’s the new January. New Moons are great for new beginnings and this New Moon has a sobering edge. You may find that you have the discipline to commit to a habit and give something up.

Work is also under the cosmic spotlight and it’s important that you have a job or vocation that fulfils you emotionally. You might be grateful to have a job that pays the bills but ideally you’re seeking something more, either within work or outside of work.

Romantic Pisces

After the 18th, the Sun is blazing bright in your opposite star sign and your relationship sector. Valentines Day may be friendly and social rather than romantic but later in February, there’s a more passionate vibe. The 23rd and 24th could be stand-out dates for love and relationships.

To make the most of Pisces’ romantic nature, you have to be willing to surrender and let go of control. This is love’s realm, after all. We talk about losing ourselves in love.

Jupiter-Uranus

There’s another strong planetary influence this month as one of the major aspects of 2022 takes place on the 18th. On the day that the Sun enters Pisces, big planet Jupiter in Pisces aligns with Uranus in Taurus. These two planets are entrepreneurial and freedom-loving. They represent breakthroughs and leaps of faith.

Uranus in Taurus is also active earlier this month, on the 8th when it aligns with Mars. Sometimes, you want to see the world or save the world with this planetary combination. 

You might be planning a new adventure during the Jupiter-Uranus connection or be thinking about taking a sabbatical to study and learn something new. This can be a soul-searching time, as you need something to believe in.
