The Sun Enters Sagittarius: Sun Salute

Sun Salute
Saluting the Sun

The Sun is now in Sagittarius and there will be a few of us more than ready for this shift in the zodiac. In fact I was tempted to call this blog post “Good bye Scorpio” as the Sun today departs Scorpio, the sign of deep water.

Here’s a quote from Seth Godin that resonates with the emphasis of planets in water signs during this last week.

“How deep is this water?”

If it’s over your head, does it really matter?

At some point, when the stakes are high enough and your skills and desires are ready, you will swim.

And when you swim, who cares how deep the water is?

We now get a break from the emotional depths of Scorpio and can swim in to shallower waters, break the surface and breathe in some fresh air.

The Sun enters Sagittarius, the sign of the Archer, later today, Monday 21st November at 21:22 GMT and it remains here until December 21st so potentially a whole month of optimism, excitement, laughter and all the things in life that expand your world and bump up the feel good factor.

Travel and learning are ruled by Sagittarius and this is the perfect time of year to look ahead to 2017 and decide where you want to send your Archer’s arrows. Make plans, book a holiday, sign up for a course, find a mentor, flex your entrepreneurial muscles, take a risk and do something different.

This morning I was standing in our kitchen cup of coffee in hand reading the One Life poster on our kitchen wall and its manifesto mirrors beautifully the sign of Sagittarius. Here are just a few lines that sprang out for me:

One Life. If you’re not happy do something about it. Life is short. Have dreams and aspirations. Take risks. Face your fears. Decide what you want in life and go for it. Life is one big adventure.

A Sagittarius manifesto at it’s best. So enjoy the month ahead and embrace the Sun’s journey through the fire sign Sagittarius with a smile on your face and hope in your heart.

And finally, another quote that appeared on my Facebook page today:

Everything will be ok in the end. If it’s not ok, it’s not the end.
