Taurus September 2017

Taurus September 2017

Taurus (20 April – 20 May)

First thing in September action planet Mars and communication planet Mercury pick up after the Solar Eclipse that took place on August 21st. The sign to note is Leo, ruling your home and family, your past and where you come from. Mars is at the eclipse degree of 28 Leo on the weekend of the 2nd and 3rd and Mercury turns direct at the eclipse degree on the 5th.

So if plans have changed or you’re getting used to a new set up either at home or in the family, this is a good time to iron out the details. Or perhaps you need to leap in and talk to someone close to you, especially if you’ve been worried about them or they need your reassurance or help.

It’s a lively combination for sure early in September and what happens at home might mean you think differently about your own career or your plans for the future. Certainly, you’re playing a key role in any changing situation because your ruler Venus is strong in Leo until the 20th.

This feels as if you might be healing a rift or wanting to keep the peace after a tumultuous few weeks. Or perhaps you feel you’ve been railroaded by other people and now it’s your turn to decide what you want with regard to home or family.

This might include where you live or ensuring that your surroundings are peaceful and harmonious. If you’ve got the builders in or you live next door to noisy neighbours, consider what you can do to ease your situation.

Once Mercury is back up to speed in Leo on the 5th, there’s no reason not to speak up. You might also be dealing with a scenario that kicked in back in July or perhaps a property deal has been on hold but Mercury’s change of direction signals a green light.

Deal with any situation that affects your security or your foundations early in the month. The other peak period is the 13th to the 18th when your ruler Venus makes some gorgeous planetary aspects to Saturn (13th), Jupiter (15th) and Uranus (18th).

This is linked to your work and money matters and moving things forward in a way that benefits you. If any of these areas have been stuck of late, look for a new solution, something that isn’t just a short-term fix but a long-term plan.

This month you may be thinking about ringing the changes at work and it’s a good time to look at what you can do differently. See what opportunities come in mid-month and be ready to take a risk or a leap of faith towards the end of the month.

There’s a major Jupiter-Uranus opposition on the 28th and this is the third and final clash of these two big planets. They first opposed one another over Christmas 2016 and met again early March 2017. This is their third and final encounter.

Jupiter is in Libra and your work and health sector and Uranus is linked to your career and vocation. Both planets represent freedom and Uranus in particular is about thinking outside of the box, going freelance, doing things differently.

It depends on your current situation what this means for you. It might be a good time to break free from a job that you’re bored with or or look for work that takes you abroad. Study too could be part of the picture or joining an online group as Jupiter’s linked to study and Uranus rules technology.

This might challenge the side of your nature that’s resistant to change but it would be a shame to miss out on a new opportunity that takes you out of your comfort zone. Play for high stakes this month and you can set yourself up for the future.

Also this month, one of the important themes is enjoyment and play. This is because there’s a strong emphasis on your fellow earth sign Virgo. The Sun’s in Virgo until the 22nd, action planet Mars is in Virgo from the 5th, communication planet Mercury is here from the 10th to the 30th and, most importantly for you, your ruling planet Venus enters Virgo on the 20th.

This is a heady mix of planets in the sign that rules fun, entertainment, luck, children, creative projects and love affairs. This part of your chart is about what you ‘give birth to’, what you want to produce, what you want to make. If you’re a typical Taurus, you’ll have a strong artistic or creative streak so focus on this side of your nature and do more of what you love.

The New Moon on the 20th could be an incredible time for you as all five of the personal planets, the Sun, the Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars are in in Virgo on this day. So do something special, set new intentions and create your masterpiece or give birth to your baby.

Two days later, the Sun’s move into Libra heralds the Equinox and the start of a new season. For you, this might include a new job or project, or a new initiative that allows you to be true to who you are and express the real you.

It’s also potentially a top month for love and romance so if you’re looking to meet someone new, don’t stay home. Make the right moves and be friendly with the people you meet. This is an excellent month for dating and mating and upping the fun factor.

Neptune isn’t out of the picture however so this can add confusion at times or the possibility that you’re looking at life or love through rose-coloured glasses. The key dates are the Full Moon on the 6th and the 24th and 30th when Neptune opposes the relating planets, Mars and Venus, respectively.

Or perhaps Neptune adds a rosy or romantic glow to whatever you’re doing or whoever you’re hanging with. Yet play by the rules when it comes to love and dare to open your heart. September’s lining up to be a month to remember for all the right reasons.
