Taurus Monthly Stars November 2012

Your planet Venus is in Libra until the 22nd which is a very helpful influence this month and it’s important to take note of this and try and make Venus in Libra work for you as best you can.

Venus in Libra is about finding balance and harmony in your life, it’s about negotiating with other people well and keeping life gentle and calm. Venus in Libra focuses on your work, routine and your health so look after yourself, take good self care and put practises in place that benefit you and boost your mind, body and soul.

This month, the area of potential difficulty is your significant other or a key player in your life. It’s about your one-to-one connections, the people you need on your side and the people you work with directly. You may have already noticed some changes as Saturn, the taskmaster of the heavens, moved into Scorpio and your opposite sign last month on the 5th October.

Saturn can be a heavy influence at times but most importantly it’s about being realistic and looking at what works and what doesn’t. You can’t float around pretending everything’s ok if it’s not. This is prime time to confront your own demons and tap into your inner soul to ask yourself how you really feel about your key one-on-ones and whether the people in your life benefit you or bring you down.

This month intensifies the issues but it’s important to realise that some things are hidden and you won’t have all the information you need to hand until later in the month. There are a couple of reasons for this. Firstly, Mercury is retrograde, i.e. on go slow from the 6th-26th. Mercury is the planet of communication and as it moves backwards, it retreats into the sign of Scorpio. So be aware that new information may come to light on or around the 26th. Until that date, you don’t have a clear picture of what’s going on. This fact is compounded by an eclipse in Scorpio on the 13th. If you think of the symbolism of an eclipse, it involves three bodies: the Sun, Moon and the Earth and a shadow is cast. In other words, something is hidden.

Eclipses are often about win-lose situations and whilst one person loses out, another person takes advantage. So keep a close eye on any power games that are going on and trust your natural intuition to decide who you can trust and who you can’t. For some, mid-month could bring dramatic events with regard to your one-on-ones and if so, you either have to think about ending a relationship/partnership that doesn’t work in your favour or you have to find a way to deal with the issue head on.

Venus, your planet, also enters Scorpio on the 2nd and teams up with Saturn on the 27th, the day after Mercury turns direct in Scorpio. This is your cue to get real, make a commitment if necessary and stick to it or close a door on your past and move on. It is important to add that Saturn is the planet of commitment and long term anything, so for some of you this may be about deciding that you are going to make a relationship/marriage/partnership work. It’s not necessarily a goodbye; in fact it could be a powerful and important new beginning, but if so you’re in it for the long haul and must prove your commitment.

Money matters come under the cosmic radar too this month and with Jupiter in your cash zone, you are still luckier than most. The 9th looks especially fabulous when Venus and Jupiter come together (a Friday night Euromillions ticket?). On the whole, however, this is the time to consolidate what you have and not take any big risks or gambles with your cash. Jupiter will pick up speed again February 2013 which is when you should be ready to go full steam ahead to improve your earnings.

Other peoples’ money needs to be treated with kid gloves this month as Mercury turns retrograde in this sector of your chart and the eclipse on the 28th cuts across the Gemini/Sagittarius axis. Hold tight to your cash and ensure that investments, savings and any financial institutions you deal with are safe and secure. Double check your assets and put off any major financial moves until next month. It’s probably best to wait and do your Christmas shopping in December as well.
