Taurus Monthly Stars March 2013

Taurus Maldives StampTaurus (20 April-20 May)

Pisces is the sign of the month with five planets here, including your ruling planet Venus. Pisces rules the realm of the sea and at times you may feel as if you’re going with the flow being washed this way and that way with the natural rhythm of the water. It can be a pleasant experience, the sense of not-knowing, trying out different things, seeing what hat fits. Or it can be disorientating and confusing. Being a Taurus and one of the earth signs, you tend to be happiest with at least one foot on dry ground.

There’s extra confusion in the mix at the moment due to Mercury retrograde, also in Pisces. Mercury’s the planet of communication and the mind and when it’s on go slow, things are hidden from you. You don’t have all the information you need and you certainly don’t know the truth of a situation. Pisces is the planet of lies and deceit so proceed carefully if you’re involved in any kind of dealings that require patience and negotiation.

Things start to make sense later in the month as Mercury turns direct on the 17th. This may bring the news you’re waiting for or you get the go-ahead or green light for a project that’s been on hold. In your chart, Pisces is the sign that rules friends, groups, clubs and society as a whole. It’s about the bigger picture and how you fit into your community and the world around you. Any questions you have begin to be answered after the 17th.

Until then try and keep tight hold of love, caring and compassion as your planet Venus is exalted in Pisces. The planet of love (Venus) is comfortable in the realm of emotions and sensitivity (Pisces). If in doubt, think the best of someone and remember that by law we are innocent until proven guilty.

This may be easier said than done, as with Saturn in your opposite sign of Scorpio, it’s true that not everyone you meet is going to be on your side or even nice to you. Saturn in Scorpio indicates a tough cookie, someone who has firm opinions and a lot of power. The 8th looks significant when Saturn and Pluto combine in the heavens. On or around that date you may know who or what you’re up against.

Your planet Venus is on the move on the 22nd when it moves into Aries and joins Mars (action) and the Sun (ego). The spring equinox takes place on the 20th and this is symbolically a time of new growth and new beginnings. However, Aries is hidden away in your own chart so you may still feel as if you’re playing a waiting game, feel under par in some way or not have the energy you’d like to pursue new goals. Be strategic and focus on one project at a time. It’s easy to become overwhelmed if you try and do too much and spread yourself too wide when planets are in Aries.

Changes may also come thick and fast on or around the Full Moon on the 27th. This Full Moon coincides with the planet of unpredictability Uranus and you need to be flexible and change tack quickly on or around this date. Both Venus and the Sun clash with Uranus so expect the unexpected and have plan B, C and even D up your sleeve. Unforeseen events mean that your plans inevitably change so work only at what’s essential and leave your bigger goals (world domination?) until a later date.

When it comes to love, this too may prove secretive at month’s end and with Venus in the hidden sector of your chart, for one reason or another, love has to remain private. You’re wise to take your time with any new relationship and if someone’s unavailable, either quit or be patient. Life isn’t as black and white as you might like this month but see what subtleties you can discover in the grey areas and be willing to explore new and different ways of doing things.
