Venus Turns Direct

The big news for you comes early on in September as your ruling planet Venus turns direct after six weeks retrograde. Venus moved into retreat in Leo, your home and family sector, on July 23rd. Therefore, the beginning of this month could bring a turning point that brings you some relief or pleasure. Or, perhaps your property sells or you find your dream home.

It would be a good date to hold out the olive branch of peace or begin to heal a rift. Put your ego out of the way and take on a protective role if necessary. The 17th & 29th may prove to be important dates this month, helping you to break free or let go of what’s no longer needed. Sometimes, life brings a reminder that holding on too tight rarely favours love.

Virgo Season

The Sun is in your fellow earth sign Virgo up until the 23rd. This is good news for you as you are one of the sensual, fertile, creative earth signs. This means that you’re likely to feel in your element. Virgo rules one of the best sectors of your horoscope which is about good times and luck. Therefore, this planetary vibe feels positive for you. 

It could be a glorious month to fall in love, make a baby, be proud of your offspring, enjoy yourself, line up top entertainment, start a new hobby or a creative project. Think about what you can ‘give birth to’ or bring into the world. Now’s the time when your creative juices could be flowing freely.

Plus, the crackle of adventure and change continue to fizzle strongly in your horoscope. The entrepreneurial freedom-loving planets Jupiter and Uranus are both in your star sign Taurus and team up with key planets in Virgo. The key dates are the 4th, 8th, 16th, 25th & 30th.

If you’re a typical Taurus, you’re usually happiest when life feels stable and secure, you can move at a leisurely pace and you have time to smell the roses. Yet, there are other factors currently drawing you out into the world. With both Jupiter and Uranus retrograde until 2024, line up some big plans and visionary goals for next year. And, trust your luck on the dates mentioned – take a leap of faith.

Mercury Turns Direct

There is another key planet in Virgo, communication planet Mercury. Mercury has been retrograde, i.e. in retreat since August 23rd. It’s been quite a chaotic Mercury retrograde phase. Therefore, the turning point on the 15th could bring a sense of relief.

This is often a date when news or information comes to light. And Mercury turns direct in Virgo, the star sign linked to children, lovers, creativity and play in your horoscope.

Mid-month, you may hear from someone who’s been quiet recently. Or, perhaps a creative block shifts or the tickets you want for a show materialise. Reach out to other people mid-month and reopen the lines of communication.

This coincides with this month’s New Moon, also in Virgo, again on the 15th. A New Moon is a symbol of new beginnings encouraging you to take the initiative, engage fully with life and make things happen.

Balance The Scales

The Sun’s move into Libra on the 23rd heralds the Equinox and the start of a new season. For you, this might include a new job or project. Or, perhaps a new initiative that allows you to be true to who you are and express the real you.

Libra is the star sign representing balance and weighing things up. The key to the Libra scales is to remember that it’s a constant balancing act rather than finding a permanent state of equilibrium. 

Libra rules your work and routine, your lifestyle and health. It’s about the basics of life and doing whatever’s needed to feel well in your mind, body and soul. If the work/life balance is out in any way, start to recalibrate those scales and you don’t have to wait for the 23rd.

As soon as September begins, action planet Mars is in Libra where it remains throughout the month. This is a go-getting, forward-moving influence. Yes, you may be waiting on other people until the 15th but Mars is encouraging you to live your life well.

Finally, this month’s Full Moon falls in the first sign of the zodiac Aries on the 29th. The Sun opposes the Moon during the Full Moon phase which can require a balancing act. 

The Sun in Libra highlights your work and health, your lifestyle and routine. Whereas, the Moon in Aries is in the most hidden sector of your horoscope and is about retreat and solitude, inner work and sacrifice.
