Strictly Come Dancing Update 2012

Strictly Come Dancing glitter ballWell, I’m delighted by my prediction and the fact that amazing gymnast, Louis Smith, won Strictly Come Dancing 2012 with his partner Flavia Cacace. Click here to read why the favourite was always going to win.

I’m also doubly delighted that Denise van Outen made the final 3 as I predicted as, to be honest, that was looking unlikely until tonight.

So 2 out of 3 ain’t bad! I never had a bet on Louis winning Strictly as the odds weren’t brilliant for the punter but I feel vindicated in the fact that the chart suggested the favourite would win and Louis did just that.

What an amazing final showdance. I think I need to watch that over and over on BBCi player until I’ve had my fill. I love the boy. He’s magnificent and Flavia is the most amazing teacher. I think he was probably very tricky to teach so she did really well. Hats off to her most of all.

Those professional dancers deserve their praise – the choreography is always amazing and they play to the strengths of their partners. Flavia knew that a a slow/rumba style dance would suit Louis’ gymnastic experrtise and so it proved.

Incredible, fab-u-lous, amazing (that’s Craig’s voice!). The most brilliant Strictly for some time. 3 top dancers and the scores proved it. Anyone of them was worthy of picking up the glitter ball. As was the dark horse, Dani! Go, Strictly!
