Scorpio (23 October – 22 November)
It’s Scorpio season which means it’s your birthday month. The Sun adds confidence, vitality and warmth to the mix until the 22nd when it changes star sign.
Mercury – Going In Deep
This month, you’re going in extra deep. This is because you have Mercury, the planet of communication, in your star sign, Scorpio throughout November. This is great for soul-searching, self-analysis, solving mysteries or puzzles, counselling others. This brings out the detective within you, digging deep for answers.
Plus, up until the 20th, Mercury is retrograde in Scorpio, i.e. in retreat. Effectively, Mercury’s going deeper still. Don’t be surprised if you experience intense feelings while Mercury plunges into Scorpio. This combination is brilliant for therapy or any form of healing work or transformation.
You could have psychic experiences or conversations with the dead this month, as Scorpio season is when the veil between the worlds is at its thinnest. Just ensure you don’t go so deep that you lose sight of the light.
If you’re a typical Sun Scorpio, you’ll have a side to your nature that can spiral down. If this happens you need other people in your life who bring humour, laughter and lightness into Scorpio’ world.
Mars & Pluto Clash
Also, there may be a specific reason why you’re soul-searching more than usual. This is because, up until the 19th, Mars, your traditional ruling planet, is in Libra and the most hidden sector of your horoscope. Libra rules relationships. It’s also about finding your inner voice, privacy and secrets. This is a key theme running throughout the month.
On the 5th, Mars clashes with Pluto, your co-ruler and this is a challenging planetary aspect. You might find it hard to let go of a conversation or situation in your life that kicked in during last month’s Full Moon on October 13th, which pulled Pluto in to the mix.
On October 27th, Mars ran into Saturn. And, this month, on the 5th, Mars clashes with Pluto. Saturn and Pluto are in Capricorn and your communication sector. They are authority figures too, so be careful that you don’t have a run in with the law during this phase. You may find that you can’t speak to someone you want to speak with and this combination could flag up a stand-off situation.
When Mars and Pluto clash, you might want to throw in the towel or give up on something. Acknowledge the strength of your feelings, express your anger constructively but be wary of issuing an ultimatum or giving up completely. If you’re to give up anything at this point, you’d be wise to choose resentment or feelings that don’t serve you.
Full Moon Taurus
The Full Moon on the 12th is a significant turning point. Firstly, Mars teams up with Jupiter, the positive planet and this could bring developments to a personal situation that are joyful and hopeful.
Plus, the Full Moon cuts across the Scorpio/Taurus axis of the zodiac. Therefore, this is a significant Full Moon for your 1-to-1 relationships, both personal and professional. Trust your intuition during the Full Moon period.
Also, the day before, on the 11th, there’s a Sun/Mercury conjunction in Scorpio which could prove to be revelatory. Listen out for a synchronicity or news that comes to light. The Sun’s light shines in to the darkness of Mercury retrograde. It’s a time when you can find answers, even if it’s not the time to act upon them.
You would expect this Full Moon to be decisive in your close relationships. You may need to include other people in the mix, for example, your children. Turn to others if necessary for their input and guidance.
Mars Enters Scorpio
This month’s turning point is a big one for you and it takes place on the 19th/20th. Firstly, Mercury turns direct on the 20th in Scorpio. This is often a time when new information comes to light or you feel sure about your feelings, your ideas and thoughts.
Plus, on the 19th, your planet, Mars moves into Scorpio which adds strength and courage to the mix. You’re ready to step out of the shadows and play your part in the world. It’s less introspective after this date. You may think ‘about time too’.
Mars remains in Scorpio until early January 2020. This is great for cracking on with your personal goals and aims. Be assertive and bold and focus on what you want and need.
This might be helpful too when Mars clashes with Uranus in Taurus and your relationship sector on the 26th. Your relationships are shifting so embrace change. If someone’s unreliable, take back your power. If you want more freedom in your life, make it happen.
Money & Good Fortune
Freedom is a key feature of your relationships because of what’s happening with Venus, your partner planet, this month. From the 1st to the 26th, Venus is flying high in Sagittarius and your personal money sector. This could spell good news for a partner’s fortunes. Or perhaps, you’re the one who’s starting to benefit from a joint venture or business partnership.
Plus, on the 24th, there’s a stunning Venus-Jupiter conjunction. This is gorgeous for money matters and love. Venus rules both these areas and Jupiter expands what it touches. You could receive a gift or bonus at the end of the month. Any deal which begins under these stars is likely to pay off.
Regain some independence in your life when it comes to money too. This is important with your current astrology. The New Moon in Sagittarius on the 26th would be a great date to launch a money making project or boost your finances.
