Scorpio (24 October-21 November)
There’s no escaping Saturn in your sign of Scorpio as the summer (northern hemisphere) progresses and if Saturn proves one thing, it’s that hard work reaps rewards. Some of you may have to knuckle down this month and especially where work or career’s concerned, you’re either up against deadlines or having to wipe the slate clean and begin again. Saturn turns direct on the 8th when it’s energy will be strong.
Other dates to note are the 1st and 28th when Saturn squares planets in Leo and your career sector. There’s a strong focus on the sign of Leo and your career sector this month as Venus is there until the 22nd when it hands on the baton to the Sun which remains in Leo through into August.
With Saturn in the mix, you may find yourself doubting what you’re doing or feeling disheartened about your career path. Usually the best way to deal with Saturn is to carry on regardless, ensure you finish what you start and keep working hard to achieve your goals.
The Full Moon on the 22nd may prove to be a watershed as it cuts across the Leo/Aquarius axis of your chart and focuses on the work/life balance. Home v. work: which one will win over the other and where do you want to place the priority in your life. The stars suggest that put work first and you’ll be better off in the long run.
It’s certainly not all work and no play this month, however, especially with so many planets entering Cancer and the sign in your chart that rules travel, educational and spiritual pursuits and anything that expands your life and helps you feel you’re living your life to the full.
Jupiter, the planet of opportunity, entered Cancer last month and it will remain in this sector of your chart until next summer. This is the area of your life to focus your energy and to move beyond your comfort zone. Think travel, study, spirituality and also publishing or the Law. Bigger is better where Jupiter’s concerned so book yourself an adventure and grasp life with both hands.
As is often the case with astrology and life, however, you can’t run before you walk and this month in particular you may encounter frustrations or delays wherever you’re trying to get to or whatever you’re trying to do. This is because Mercury is retrograde in Cancer and this same sector of your chart until the 20th July.
Up until that date, you may find that travel plans go awry or you simply find it more difficult than usual to get things done. Mercury retrograde spells miscommunication and sometimes communication breakdown. In fact you’re wise to put off the big decisions until Mercury turns direct as this is when you’re going with the flow of life. Plus new information often comes to light once Mercury turns and you’re glad you waited as you find a better offer.
This month is all about going with the flow and trusting your intuition because from the 17th-19th, there’s a grand trine in water signs. This includes Jupiter in Cancer trine Saturn in Scorpio and Neptune in Pisces. This has a magical feel about it and something special must come your way on or around these dates. It’s good news for adventure, turning dreams into reality and making progress where children or romance are concerned.
This is about putting plans in place to create the reality you want for yourself. Seek out inspiration via people, books, films, music or ideas that appeal to you and urge you to do things differently and step out of your comfort zone. What you discover over the coming year will pave the way for success in your work and career once Jupiter enters Leo and your career sector next summer.
There will be a few bumps in the road on your journey and this month the 2nd-4th July and 27th July-1st August bring repeat lessons your way. This is when the ongoing Uranus-Pluto square is ignited by planets in Cancer and you may find that you just can’t get what you want on or around these dates. Work or health may be unpredictable and you need to watch your tendency to slip into self-destruct mode and say something or do something that works against you. Be less impulsive on or around these dates and be more aware of your automatic behaviours.
Where love’s concerned this isn’t the most romantic of months unless you fall for someone you work with. However, this won’t be an easy relationship and may bring more problems than it solves so take your time. If you’re in a relationship or married, the relationship prospers when you encourage each other to focus on your goals and be the best you can be.
This is a peak time of the year to spread your wings and dream big. It’s a challenging period but not without its rewards.
Read both your Sun sign and your Ascendant sign for a full prediction. If you don’t know your Ascendant but know your time of birth, send me your birth data (date, time, place of birth) and I’ll let you know your Ascendant (the sign that was rising on the horizon when you were born). If you’re born on the cusp and you’re unsure of your Sun sign, send me your birth data and I’ll confirm it for you. I’m here to help.
