Scorpio March 2017

Scorpio March 2017

Scorpio (24 October – 21 November)

Your ruling planet Mars remains in Aries until the 10th, highlighting the sector of your chart that rules your work and routine, your lifestyle and your health. It’s here where there’s a lot of planetary activity throughout the month but Mars is actually working hard to nail down a deal or bring more stability to your life.

The key date in this respect is the 5th because this is when Mars teams up with the planet of responsibility, Saturn. Saturn has been in Sagittarius and your personal money sector for the last two years and Saturn has a reputation for being the taskmaster of the heavens.

Yet if anything you learn to work hard when Saturn’s in town, to take the long route to success, to be patient for your rewards. When Mars and Saturn come together, you can finally come up with a game plan that helps secure your foundations and improve your general financial well-being.

There is an indication however that you have to do this on your own especially if you find that someone else drops out on you or takes a step back. This is because on the 4th, Venus, your partner planet, turns retrograde in Aries and will remain on go slow for the next six weeks.

This might mean that you and your other half have different agendas, especially when it comes to work and money. Or you may find that someone who’s previously been on your side or promised a great deal at work, disappears or goes quiet on you.

Venus shifts direction so it’s important that you take a step back too. If one relationship in particular isn’t working out, don’t push it for now. Give yourself and the other person time to reassess and review the situation.

That’s not to say there won’t be moments when you can’t unite or come together and in fact, if this is about a love relationship for you, then other factors indicate that you have a lot to think about and talk about in the month ahead.

Venus is in action twice this month on the 18th and 25th so notice who comes into your life on or around these dates, and if you want to work on a reconciliation or meet up with an ex or childhood sweetheart, these are promising dates to do so.

There’s also a romantic feel to the first few weeks of March thanks to communication planet Mercury and the Sun in your fellow water sign of Pisces until the 13th and 20th respectively. Pisces rules love affairs and when Neptune teams up with the Sun and Mercury on the 2nd and 4th, there’s a dreamy quality to events.

However, after the powerful Solar Eclipse on Pisces on February 26th, this can be a time when you’re questioning love rather than losing yourself in love. At least both are possible when Neptune’s around.

Pisces also rules children in your chart, your creativity and entertainment. In other words, it represents the fun side of life so notice who or what you’re drawn towards. Neptune is a seductive influence but great for artistic activities or seeking inspiration. This is a time to trust your intuition, to listen to your heart and how it guides you.

The Full Moon on the 12th cuts across the Virgo/Pisces axis of the zodiac so this might be a stand-out date for creative or social activities. The Full Moon represents celebration, the need to let your hair down and have some fun. Get together with your best friends or hang out with your kids. In some shape or form, mark the occasion.

There is one other reason why your close relationships matter to you greatly now and this is because your ruler Mars enters Taurus and your opposite sign on the 10th. Mars remains here until April 21st.

So after the romance of Neptune, Mars insists on getting real about love. This is when the honeymoon period is potentially over and you need to deal with practicalities, whether that includes money or everyday chores. If your own situation is up in the air this month, then perhaps Mars in Taurus is the partner at home holding the fort.

Certainly this feels like a month of change and it might be what’s happening behind the scenes that is most relevant or on an inner level. This is because of two major planetary aspects which take place now.

The first is opportunity planet Jupiter in Libra opposite unpredictable planet Uranus in Aries on the 3rd. This is a repeat of a planetary aspect that took place late December 2016. This is the opposite of routine. Both these planets are Sky Gods, it adds the freedom factor to your life, the desire for change.

Uranus is creating a revolution in your work and lifestyle sectors so it’s here where you want to break free and do things differently. Or perhaps change comes your way overnight and it’s time to think again about what next.

The second major planetary aspect takes place on the 30th between Jupiter in Libra and your co-ruler Pluto in Capricorn and your communication sector. This is the repeat of an aspect which took place late November 2016 and both these Jupiter influences continue until September 2017.

So what are you letting go of, where in life do you need to say No? Jupiter and Pluto together represent hidden riches, finding what’s of value in your life. Yet when they clash, sometimes you feel out of control or life becomes dull or meaningless.

One way or another, this is a month when you’re learning to play by new rules and preparing yourself for the momentous move of Jupiter into your own sign of Scorpio in October 2017. Think of this period as paving the way for a new start later in the year.

  1. Thank you so much for your hard work that you put into Scorpios reading this Month. I’m going threw some troubles in our marriage and gut in stink there IS a third person.. ?? ..HMM!! YES HE HAS SHUT DOWN ON ME. There is a repeat patron with him. MARCH and April he always walks out and threatens me and comes back but this time I don’t think so. His wedding ring is off. HELP OF YOU CAN THANK YOU

    1. hi Debra, I’m sorry to hear you’re having a rough relationship. It will be hard now to get a resolution on love until Venus is direct and both March & April are ‘retrograde’ months. Look after you, decide what you want would be my advice, especially if the pattern has happened before. Jupiter will be in Scorpio in October of this year, a chance for some big new beginnings. Take care, Sally

    Hi Sally,
In your introductions each month you give details of when planets are moving to retrograde, for instance, and mention a GMT time. Do I then have to calculate what time it is for me in Australia? For example, if it’s changing at 0900 GMT, it will be 1700 WST for me at this time of year.
I look forward to receiving your monthly forecasts and as a Scorpio I am very excited about the arrival of Jupiter later this year!
    Kind regards,
    Sherryl

    1. hi Sherryl, yes, that is correct. I wanted to ensure that my readers worldwide know the time when planetary events happen. That seemed the easiest way to do it, work out your time from the GMT. As a Scorpio, I too am thrilled about Jupiter in our sign later this year. Sending best wishes, Sally
